Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

@creative_writer hopefully you can celebrate Eid on the weekend then. I know that it is a big celebration for you.

I hope uni goes well for you hon.

I've got psych Tuesday, ECT and Pdoc Wednesday and then Thursday I have to take mum out to a concert she wants to go to. Last thing I want to do but have no choice.

@Snowie I’m just one of those students who wants to attend all tutorial classes, I know I have to only attend 50% of them, but I don’t like missing work.

I hope the appointments go well. I hope the concert turns out okay

I wouldn't want to miss them either @creative_writer

If it makes it a little easier for you then go for it

Re: My special place

@Snowie I’m having lunch with peers on Thursday and still waiting to hear back from a friend for a potential meet up on Wednesday. It’s the last teaching week, they might be discussing assignments too. I also have a flu vaccine on Thursday at uni, have to get it done for placement

Re: My special place

@creative_writer that would be really nice if you can catch up with some friends. Something to look forward to.

I know D has to get some shots for her placements later in the year too.

Re: My special place

@Snowie it is nice catching up with friends, I do tend to prefer smaller group setting, the larger grouper can be overstimulating after some time.

Getting all the checks sorted before placement can be tedious. I hope D does enjoy her placement later this year and she gets a good fit 🙂

Re: My special place

Smaller group settings are always better @creative_writer Too many people makes me uncomfortable. Do you know where your placements are?

Hopefully she does like them, which I think she will.

Re: My special place

@Snowie it can be overwhelming, particularly for those of us who are introverted and/or have sensory sensitivities. I have a community MH placements. I’m hoping it’s a good fit, I haven’t spoken to anyone from the organisation yet and I have yet to have an interview. Feelings lots of anxiety.

Does she have a big portion of placement to do for her course?

@NatureLoverit can be hard when it’s quite bleak and dark. I don’t like it when it’s raining for day straight either. I hope the next five days go okay for you, hon 💖🫂

Thanks, @creative_writer ❤️

I'm sorry you got triggered yesterday 😣

You need to put your needs first hon, the rest can wait for another day. As long as the basics are covered then that's enough.

Thanks @Snowie . Unfortunately it's not enough with a rental inspection coming up. I need about 1 - 2 weeks' notice, and I think by law they only have to give 24 hours' notice?

But in any case, I hardly achieved anything.

How did it go with your Aunties' visit? That's good of you to have them in your house when they cut off contact many years ago. If it's in your house then it's hard to bring an end to the visit.

Hoping it went OK 🤞💙
