Let’s have a cuppa @Snowie . My psych appointment was ok today. I see a sports psychologist so was able to tell him about the weekend results. I’m just parked down at the beach but I’m going to the library soon to pick up some light reading to enjoy my retirement.

It must be nice just to sit and look out at the ocean. I hope you are able to get some good books to read, and even better they are free.

Actually nice and sunny here. Should get out in the sun but comfy on the couch.

D is baking a cake so my house smells wonderful at the moment.

I read that you all watched the car race yesterday. A young family member of my h has cancer and she met some of the drivers. I guess there had to be some perks with childhood cancer as she’s had a hideous time but yesterdays photos of her were pure joy.

Oh that would have been an amazing experience for that young person @Eve7 . They deserve some happiness and joy in their lives after the struggles that they have to go through. I'm so glad they have photos of the experience that they can continue to relive.

Just having a piece of cake now. Now lets see if she leaves the kitchen clean!!

She actually really likes cooking, always has. Not too great with the pack up however 🤦‍♀️

Glad you got a good chunk of it done today, that must have taken a lot of energy. I'm sure it took a lot out of you. At least you might be able to have a bit of a rest tonight knowing it is mostly done.

I am very lucky that my hubby and kids will try and eat anything I make. They never were fussy eaters even when they were young.

How much time do you need to know if it's manic or mixed? Have you got some supports that can help you be able to deal with it? Is there anything we can do to help?
