Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Congratulations on being at home again @Snowie ! Thanks for the update 🙂

How did you sleep last night, back in your own bed again?

Thanks, you too! It's very hot, isn't it! @creative_writer

Re: My special place

@NatureLover it is certainly very hot. I’m looking forward to the cool change, but it won’t be for a while. It’s odd for it to be so hot in the beginning of autumn. I suppose Melbourne is try to compensate for the cooler days we had earlier

Hi @NatureLover

Even though I took my weighted blanket into hospital with me it still wasn't the same as being back in my own bed. Had a really good sleep!! Was also nice waking up knowing hubby was next to me and my kids were in close by too. I have missed them so much.

@Snowie ,

Home sweet home 🙂 I'm glad you had a good sleep.

Do you feel better (mental health wise) since your admission?

In response to: Re: My special place

Re: My special place

Mentally I do feel better @tyme compared to when I was first admitted.

I know I still have some ECT sessions to go, but at least I can do them as an outpatient.

I am hoping that my MH continues to improve. However I do feel a lot of pressure to 'be better'.

I feel like I owe it to my family to be better, after all they have had to go through too. It certainly hasn't been easy on them either.

Re: My special place

As much as people feel that 'owe it to their family', it isn't always easy. @Snowie

If you could, i'm sure you would.

As the body gets unwell, so does the mind, and that's when we need help.

You are doing your best.

It sounds like ECT helps?

Re: My special place

@tyme I had some med changes also which seem to have gone well. No side effects so take that as a win. ECT does help me. I have had it in the past and it has helped so hopefully it helps this time too. I feel better then when I went in so taking that as a win too.
