Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

Hey @Snowie.

I hope you are coping ok. You have so much going on. You are so strong in my eyes. You are able to continue on when it’s so hard. You are an inspiration.

Things aren’t real good. My CM is monitoring me closely though. I have a CM appointment tomorrow and I see my Pdoc on the 8th, that will be an interesting appointment. I’m hoping that by choosing to have an admission, on the dates that I have off work, goes in my favour.

Re: My special place

Just plodding along @Captain24 Prn are helping. We all have to find a way to get through these things.

I'm sorry things aren't good at the moment. It is reassuring that your CM is monitoring you closely.

Do you know how long the admission will be? When are you hoping to go in?

Re: My special place

Just over a week @Snowie. It’s all the time I can have off work without any questions. It’ll be the end of Feb early march. I have to ring the week before to see if they have a bed. Stupid me thought I could just ‘book in’. You can tell I’ve never done this before.

Re: My special place

What will you tell your parents @Captain24?

I am yet to decide what to tell my mum and the kids. No doubt it will be at least a 3 week stay. I think I am ok with telling my kids the truth but still hard to do.

Are you going in just for a respite?

Sorry about all the questions

Re: My special place

Popping by to say hi @Snowie

hoping your kids take the news if your admission ok. What do you usually tell your mum?

Re: My special place

This clinic specialises in mood disorders @Snowie. So I’m just going to tell them that it’s for me to understand bipolar better.

Yeah just respite I think. I don’t think much can be done in a week. It’ll be good to see how I cope and then maybe I can do the 3 weeks later in the year if needed.

It would be so hard to tell the kids. There is no way I could tell my parents the truth. I couldn’t have them knowing.
