His much better today @Bow He was really sick for a few days.

I have him quarantining in a room. Just not letting him out of it!! Having to take everything into him. The hand sanitiser and glen 20 are getting a work out!!

Oh I’m glad hubby is doing better now @Snowie that covid sure can knock people about… and then others it doesn’t seem to effect much.
I’m sure the disinfectant is getting a working!

We (mum, D and I) have all got covid once and all at the same time, and step dad was in hospital- so he didn’t get it and was able to stay there until we were all better. The first day was the worst for me.

@Bow D and I got it last year but my son hasn't had it yet. Hopefully he doesn't catch it.

D had a cold but I only had a sore back, I only tested myself because she had gotten it and it came up positive.

Funny how it effects people differently.

Don't know how you managed to get so much washing dry today as it seemed to drizzle all morning. There was sun in the afternoon I saw though. I was having lunch at a cafe with a friend.

I'm up late, can't sleep either. Hoping you're asleep now 🤞 and that notifications don't wake you.

Been cold, wet and miserable here. Hasn't stopped raining with no end insight.

Sorta matching my mood.

I ended up sleeping extra the following night @Snowie . How has your sleep been the last 2 nights?

Sleep had been hard to come by. Have no trouble falling asleep, it's the staying asleep that is the problem.

On a really good note, D got her results for year 12 this morning. She went amazingly and is into the course she wanted. Her hard work has certainly paid off. So happy for her.

Saw my psych this morning. Didn't do EMDR as she didn't want to start something we couldn't finish.

Last time that I will see her for 6 weeks. Not sure how I feel about that, especially going from weekly sessions to nothing. Talked about how to get through this time as safely as possible.

As much as I try and be festive at this time of year, I struggle with it.

How can one be so happy yet so sad at the same time?
