Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

I was just thinking this morning @Snowie that I would take a book away with me and wondering which one to take…. Maybe I will take spare.

how are you today?

Re: My special place

It's a really good book @Bow Was very interesting to see his point of view.

I guess I am ok. Struggling to get out today. Haven't been for a walk and don't think I can bring myself to go. Just write of the day.

Izzy got a bath and clip. Has someone that does mobile grooming so she is looking spunky!!

Hi @Snowie , I'm going OK thanks. I also enjoyed "Spare" by Prince Harry.

I've just started reading "The Body Keeps the Score" (about trauma) by Besser van der Kolk. He writes well and it's interesting. About how trauma rearranges the brain and causes us trauma sufferers to behave in certain ways.

Hope you are OK.

Glad you are ok @NatureLover

I really enjoyed reading Spare. Gave such a different perspective of royal life.

That new book sounds interesting, I hope you enjoy it.

Wishing you a good day today hon 💜

Re: My special place

Had my psych appointment today.

Spoke about one of my flashbacks from childhood. She asked some questions which I found really hard to answer. Not because I didn't want to, but because they questioned my beliefs, which are really f**ked up anyway.

I talked to her about some anniversaries coming up and how I can get through them. I don't think I'm ready to talk about them, with everything happening at the moment. Also realise that I can't "start" something knowing that there will be a break in seeing her over the xmas period.

Told her how I am sh and the frequency of it.

Ran out of time to talk about my mum and the things she has been saying to me. Guess that will have to wait.

The drive home was hard but I guess at least I made it.
