Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

@fluffylight I like to read historical fiction best. I also like mysteries and crime fiction. Sometimes I read non-fiction history and politics books and sometimes books about bipolar disorder. Do you like to read?

Re: My special place

I like historical fiction too, and some self help books when I feel like it, oh and audible is good where someone can read the book to me and I listen @GezzaP

Re: My special place

@fluffylight That’s the idea read absorbing stuff to occupy your mind and pass the time so I don’t get bored.

I haven’t tried audio books yet but I like to listen to BBC radio in bed. Glad you like historical fiction too. I don’t really get into self help books. @fluffylight

Re: My special place

Sounds like you have some nice ways to look after yourself - radio and novels @GezzaP

I get that - reading allows me less time to be bored

Re: My special place

@fluffylight I find that reading stops me getting absorbed in my own thoughts and moods. Hope it does the same for you.

@Eve7 So sorry about your SI regarding your future after retirement 😢 Also that you are struggling with work. Retirement will be an adjustment for sure...will you still be studying next year?
