Something’s not right

My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

@outlander Enjoy your cabin. I like camping and cabins too. Never mind about your tafe work. Do it another day. @tyme Enjoy your camping and hope the kids don’t play up.

Don't be sorry @GezzaP Are valid questions.

CPTSD stand for complex post traumatic stress disorder. I have work place incidences and childhood trauma. I am a teacher but currently not working at the moment.

You said you were retired. What did you used to do?

Re: My special place

@Snowie Oh those problems must be really hard. Hope you are ok. You used to be a teacher what level? How do you occupy your days when you’re not working? I find that hard. Are you on jobseeker or dsp?

I was a university lecturer in Politics with a specialisation on Spanish America, especially Cuba and Mexico so I taught too.

Re: My special place

I was teaching maths and science at secondary schools @GezzaP At the moment I am on work cover. I have 2 kids so they keep me busy. Both are at school.

That sounds like it was a great career.

Re: My special place

@Snowie Oh maths and science. I couldn’t do that. Hope you get decent money on work cover. Oh you have kids still at school. Sometimes I wish I had kids to keep me occupied, but at my age they would be grown up. Ha ha I am old. I loved teaching when I had good classes. I hated the administration. Do you plan to go back to work. I’ll be watching AFL final in an hour so will have to answer tomorrow.
