My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

@fluffylight, I think I heard about it so watched it, I watched the prequel too. It’s in Turkish, but I was able to find it online with English subtitles. I think I have a thing for historical fiction, things like Pride and Prejudice, the Crown and Downton Abbey. What would you say is your preferred genre?

Omg! @creative_writer I love Pride and Prejudice - Keira Knightley has some lovely historical fiction films. Have you seen The Duchess?

Oh and I'm watching (on and off) the Crown too! How do you feel about the cast change?

@fluffylight, I’ve seen both the Keira Knightly version and the 1995 one, both are really good adaptions, though I prefer the 1995. I haven’t seen the Duchess but have heard about it. I have yet to watch the newest Crown season, so can’t comment on the cast change. Have you seen the new one? If so, how does it compare to the older seasons? I might revive Netflix over the summer when I have more time

Had a shower for the first time in days, nice to feel clean.

@creative_writer I mostly watch documentaries and real life movies. I love reading autobiographies, especially when they are made into movies.

The Duchess is based of a true story, I quite like it but not as much as Pride and Prejudice - will have to watch the 1995 one!

I'm up to season 4 now... I skipped a few episodes of season 3.. I think the cast change pulled the show down a little. But I'm keen to watch newest season @creative_writer

@Snowie and @fluffylight, I do love historical fiction based on real people. the Turkish TV I am currently watching is based on real people during the Ottoman Empire. History can be fascinating.

@fluffylight, I absolutely adore the 1995 version, it’s a mini series, so I feel like it’s not as rushed. I want to watch the new season for the Crown, the last cast does leave high expectations.

@Snowie, I’m so proud of you for taking a shower, self care is really important, particularly when things are rough 💖
