My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Jasper has a vaccination booster on Sunday @Snowie @outlander. Need to rob a bank to pay for that I think! Apart from that not much yet

MySpace was very different to Facebook @Snowie. Do you know what I'm talking about @outlander?

Because I'm on here so much (well previously was) my use of fabius less. I use it more for news and educational purposes now and less for social. Do you have to have a fake profile because you're a teacher @Snowie?

@Sans911yes vaccinations cost a small fortune!!

I don't have to have a fake profile on facebook but I do have the highest security set so if you search for me then you won't see much. We cannot accept friendship requests from students, not that I would want to. I don't have many friends on facebook compared to others.

I have snapchat and instagram too but that is really to keep an eye on what my daughter is posting.

Another random fact. This one about me. And not a well known fact. I have 2 fb account. One real. One with a fake name. It's all legit, but it's my writing/poem writing name. I don't want everyone to know about my poems, as some of them are very personal or a little dark. Interestingly enough, most of my 'friends 'are from overseas. Not even my foster knows about it, but she knows some of my poems.

Kids are really vulnerable these days aren't they @Snowie? And often naive to the workings of the world. It can be quite scary to try to protect them yet let them explor as well. Have you talked to your kids about the Internet dangers?

@Sans911that is good that you have one for your poetry. I am sure it is something you don't want to share with your family/friends. If your poems on there are anything like you have written on here then I am sure they are wonderful.

I have talked to my kids about internet safety but do monitor their use very closely. We have wifi but they don't know the password and their devices are linked to mine so I can see what they are doing. D has snapchat and instagram but that is it.

my fb setting are really high, you cant send me friend requests. ive allowed msgs just beacuse of the horse paddock but other than that its really high

All very sensible @Snowie. I've said it before you sound like a very smart, sensible mother.

I've got two very vocal, naughty cats right now. It's not enough that they already had dinner, they want mine too!

My poems elsewhere are much more detailed and darker then I would ever post on here. They wouldn't be allowed anyway. But some are about finding and loosing love. One is about my bed! I'm very fond of my bed. It's like a sanctuary for me. Others are about places I've been to. All sorts really. I wrote another Anzac poem this year. It didn't completely come to me until I was waiting for the dawn service. I never force my poems. I only write them if they come into my head. If they rhyme or not I don't care
