My special place

My special place

Well yesterday certainly threw everything off track. But thanks to some very thoughtful and kind people I was able to get threw it and continue.

I cannot say a lot about what happened as I am sure you all understand but need this support in place.

Things WILL be ok, just a lot to work out.

Psych visit yesterday sorted out some of the things and more things will be happening early next week.

I am sorry if I put anyone through any despair, but unfortunately what happened yesterday morning had to be done.

Thank you all for your continued support.

Re: My special place

@Catcakes - I had no idea how old you were. You're about 5 years older than me. I'm also my mother's youngest as well, however my mother is 70 this year. She's doing very well for her age.

Re: My special place

@Snowie - are your kids well behaved when you go shopping? Or do they nag you for things? I know some of the supermarkets know have free fruit for kids. When I took my friend's kids into a supermarket recently they didn't want any fruit. They're quite fussy eaters.

Hello @Appleblossom - I see you peeking from behind the likes. 😉

Re: My special place

@Sans911they are really well behaved. They will ask for things but if I say No then they don't get upset or angry. Yeah, when we go to the supermarket they will grab a banana or an apple and munch on that in the store.

I must admit I am lucky with their behaviour and respect. Hopefully it lasts when they are teenagers too!!

Re: My special place

@Snowie - they sound like good kids. And I bet you're a lovely mother. It must be really hard for you and them right now. You sound like you have instilled in them good morals.

Re: My special place

I’m the youngest of five @Sans911 and I have five kids as well, no grandkids yet.

Re: My special place

@Sans911in my job I have seen too many disrespectful kids, mine were going to always learn what respect is from a young age!

I have sheltered them from a lot of what is going on, however that is getting harder to do, especially with the older one. More questions are being asked and she can tell I am not my normal self. Will have to sit down one day and explain more to them

Re: My special place

So how old is your oldest sibling @Catcakes? My oldest sister(biological) is 54years. I've never married, so no children from me. I think I have surviving 13 neices/nephews and 14 great neices/nephews (3 neices/nephews are RIP) . My mother is from a family of 10! One of her brothers died at the age of eight. I have 3 aunties & 4 Uncles and no idea how many cousins. I realise we're at risk of talking off topic on this thread.

@Snowie - I don't think I've ever asked if you have siblings? Do you?
