Everyday dreams (wish, wants,)

Everyday dreams (wish, wants,)

I thought i would start this up because many people have dream for in the future but what about today. What do you want or wish for or dream for today.

Or it could be dreams for the near future

One of mine atm is to have a peacefull night , having time to myself while everyone is in bed. Then have my meds in a few hour and have a big sleep in tomorrow morning. Thats what i wish for

Re: Everyday dreams (wish, wants,)

Today's wish was to get a nap to catch up on last night's lost sleep, and to get past the inspection without any hassles.

Although my back is aching beyond description, everything went well and I am now off to have some dinner.

Hope your night improves @Bubbles3 and @NatalieS

Hi @Bubbles3 and @Former-Member

So much happening that there's no time for me.

My friend Andrew suggested I cut my working hours to part-time as, in reality, I am working two full-time jobs ( caring for hubby as well as paid employment.) This past week has made me realise something's got to give as I can't do everything and I'm just so so tired when I get home of a night and there's still house stuff to do.

I guess I need to let go and acknowledge that I can't do everything....being in control and having routine makes me feel secure (childhood trauma) and that's how I cope best.

Have got some washing on the go so at least there won't be too much to do in the morning. And I'll get a sleep-in.

Hope you're both doing well.

Oh, goodness, that's hard to manage @NatalieS

Thank you, I'm doing better than yesterday, dreadful back pain from the fallout from 'stuff' in the previous week.

If you're able to cut hours (lots of things can impact that of course), it could be a useful thing to do. Perhaps you can get help with other things to lighten the load? I surely understand about the need to control the environment, it's how I survive, but it's difficult.

Perhaps there's a support service you could use to help with hubby's care, or the house work (think washing/ ironing/ floors & surfaces/ cooking) if you could allow someone in the house. In the long ago I had a housecleaner for a time cos couldn't manage all of it, yeah, well, I'd clean a lot of stuff before she came in, didn't I *sigh* I could handle having someone do my ironing though. Eventually I phased out the 'things that needed ironing' and that fixed most of that.

I hope you can find at least 5 minutes a day that are 'just for you' minutes @NatalieS

how are you @Bubbles3

My wish for tomorrow is for pain levels to be low enough that I can stand long enough to wash up in one go, and maybe do some cooking in stages. Small wishes are good right now.

Hi @Bubbles3

Haven't been on the forums and didn't see yesterday's post.

At work a new method of reporting info for our monthly performance agreements is being trialled.

Sometimes I can look at spreadsheets and other computer prograns and nothing makes sense. Its like my eyes can see lots of information but my brain is unable to absorb and comprehend the information.

Doesn't help my mental health.

Hoping tomorrow is an easier day.

Take care.
