Something’s not right

Just sad.

Just sad.

The title says it all really. There is very little in my life which is going well tbh. The course... I'm in waaay over my head. I'm not smart enough for it. Now I feel stupid. I used to have an IQ of 132, these days I'm guessing I'd struggle to reach 100. That with the betrayal (and I don't really care who it is because at least it is the truth!) has thrown me.

I really wish I could just go to sleep for a very very long time.

Re: Just sad.

Hi @Queenie. Adding to those who are hearing you. I'm sorry to hear things are hard at the moment.

We have the same study/career dream by the sounds of it. A month ago I was determined to get back into it, ready to enrol myself and hit the ground running, and dreaming of finally graduating. A few days ago my GP wrote a letter about me being "unwell" and not able to study for at least another six months. Not sure about that yet, but I am sure that it felt like a huge blow to see and feel and think about.

Like maybe it sounds you experience too, I feel frustrated and so disheartened and disappointed when I think of how differently my head used to work. My brain feels fried, mashed, melted and banananed and it makes everything so much harder. I've had to completely redefine what success means to me, and then try to work on being ok with that being where I am right now (definite work in progress there). I'm sad that what wasn't taken was my brain, and that it feels like it is going/has gone sometimes too.

I really hear you Queenie and am thinking of you, hoping things feel a bit better for you soon.

(Also, yesterday I tried to scroll down the page with my finger while I was reading a book, and I then tried to "unlock" a pen via the lid when I was writing a list. Not sure if thats mush brain or too much time on my phone but I'll add it to the list of what the heck moments!)

Re: Just sad.

And so last night I was in a very dark place. I wanted to SH or worse. This depressive cycle won't win however long it lasts. My brain is mush and I suck at my studies but I am going to give it a red hot go I think (I hope I get that opportunity anyway). If there were marks given for determination, if only.
