Hi @paulee

Welcome the Forums!

Thanks for sharing your first post. It can be hard to make sense of a new diagnosis, so I think it's great that you're here to meet some other people who can relate.

I should let you know that we are an anonymous community, which means that sharing details that can reveal your identity, and location is restricted. You can read more about it in the Forum Guidelines. So I'm afraid that meeting people on here will remain virtual for now.

I hope this doesn't deter you though, as there are a few great people on here who I think would love to meet you.

Looking forward to seeing more of you! Just to let you know we have weekly Friday Feast. It's a great opportunity to 'meet' the forums folk and mingle. It usually starts anytime between 6-7pm AEST. Hope you can make it,

CherryBomb

What would u mean ? Could you please tell me what ur experience is @AlienBP2? I truely believe this is my natural state due to socially removing myself as a teenager due to porn and weed.
I have met many people so far and to the point I can't continue the relationships so I just am confined to my room. Its hadd

Re: new to psychosis.

I had a psychosis at 19 yes. I got very shaken by the experience. However, I recovered and have done so each time since. It is hard but you can try. Just talk to others like they talk to you. Hopefully you can find your way.

Re: new to psychosis.

Hi, high 🙂 acute psychosis is difficult to slide out of without bumps, big bumps. I've been living within a mixed episode and can say that the majority of the last 8 months was a blackout. The first and most important thing to do is recognize your symptoms before they take control of your emotions. Please reach out to the people who are close to you and ask them to learn as much as they can of your diagnosis. The more they know, the more helpful they will become. Welcome 🙂 ~TwoWays.
