Daily goals, motivation and check in

Daily goals, motivation and check in

I'm starting this discussion as a place where we can set our goals daily, help motivate each other to do them and then check in with how we went. It's a place to celebrate when we achieve them or just sit with each other if we didnt and are feeling down about it. Hopefully with encouragement and support from each other we'll tick lots of boxes for our daily goals and feel good about it. Please join in. 😊

Note* Ive just started this thread again so it will be visible. Once I deleted my account it no longer shows up.

please join in again if and when needed.

Hello @Shaz51 @Adge

Rest and recovery is a really good goal!

I'm aiming at taking it easy tonight too, though having trouble letting myself of the 'should' hook. There's always more I should be doing

I've had a reasonable weekend, which is good considering the Friday I had... bad pdoc appointment, old dog with the runs (still ) and trouble at work.

Need to regather for Monday.

Whishing you well tonight.

I can see your Frog picture now @Shaz51 Excellent.

Hi @frog The should hook often gets me too. It leaves me feeling guilty.

Thanks for the reminder that Rest & Recovery is a good goal, yes it is.

Morning @Shaz51, @Twinklelight, @Adge, @frog, @TheVorticon

Good luck with the kids @Twinklelight. Know that part well from yrs passed.

I started off off the day with a bang but have fallen in a heap 😖. My goal is to make it out for lunch with my friend. A few hours ago that seemed so easy. Hoping a shower will bring me back.

Hi @Teej @Appleblossom @Shaz51 plans for the day?

I'm tired after watching the world cup final so need to break down what I need to do today. Starting with walking dogs, physio exercises then some study.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

My overarching goal for today is to get some balance between caring for myself and ticking off things on my list.

It sounds basic but I have a long standing habit of putting myself last.

So for starters I'm going to do my physio exercises *before* walking the dogs.

Then I'm going to do some study *before* I do grocery shopping.

And after that I'll review and see what I need ... early night is a priority.

Does anyone else have this habit - taking care of others, the house, the pets then getting to the end of the day tired and grumpy because you've missed out? There are times when I've felt like there's no room in my life for me. It's a work in progress.

How bout you @Shaz51 @Appleblossom @Teej @TheVorticon @Twinklelight and fellow goal setters ... what are you up to today?
