Daily goals, motivation and check in

Daily goals, motivation and check in

I'm starting this discussion as a place where we can set our goals daily, help motivate each other to do them and then check in with how we went. It's a place to celebrate when we achieve them or just sit with each other if we didnt and are feeling down about it. Hopefully with encouragement and support from each other we'll tick lots of boxes for our daily goals and feel good about it. Please join in. 😊

Note* Ive just started this thread again so it will be visible. Once I deleted my account it no longer shows up.

please join in again if and when needed.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Don't know if you're still around @Shaz51, but I completed all my goals and then some. I cleaned the litter box and also cut down some of the nasty bougainvillea before it weaved it's way into the roof tiles. I brought washing in from a few days ago and although I haven't hung the load that's in the machine out, it got washed.

Yes, two cats Shaz. Jasper, the kitten. He's 6 months old now. He's black and white. And my older cat who's silvery gray and 2 & 1/2. I don't name him on here because they are both posted on fb quite a lot. But his photo is in this forum. Right now they're my world.

Hi everyone!

@Sans911, great work! I’m impressed. You got a lot done 👏

@Shaz51, how are you? Maybe yesterday was a pj type of day...

My goals for today...

- get some sun
- do some work
- exercise
- try to eat something healthy. Struggling with a very poor appetite lately. Haven’t been feeling like myself.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Well done to you @Shaz51!

Today I did some groceries and even went to the big shops to do it as I had to get some shoes for littlest. I don't like that shop and avoid it at the moment as it's busy, so I was glad to get that one done.

Hope you've had a good day @Pepperpot ☺

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Life is hard work. All I'm doing is existing. And it's becoming very boring, mundane and monotonous... I spin out when I think about how quickly the last twenty five years have gone... The rest of my life seems daunting from this point in time... But once I'm 50-60 years old... My life will seem like it's passed me bye in the blink of an eye.

@eudemonism Hi eudemonism why dont you do something bold today 🙂 something that you would never do or have ever done .... something wonderful 🙂 I drove by myself to visit my daughter and the freedom I felt was amazing. My anxiety is gone (for the moment that is) besides what can it hurt .... go for it 🙂

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Oh nah @Bunniekins I'm just taking it easy and doing very little. I'm not about to work myself up over trying to do something I don't really wanna do anyway. Something that the side effects fully work against.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

I think I'm talking to myself here, but all-comers welcome!

It felt impossible, but I have managed to get up, have a shower and do half my physio exercises.

It still feels impossible.

Goals:

  • work
  • avoid conflict with kids
  • cook dinner
  • sleep

Good luck everyone
