Peer to Peer?

Peer to Peer?

Hi, it seems easy to let a day get on top of you, and to lose a day. I've often thought drawing on peers to help us turn a day around would be good. Does anybody here engage in such peer-to-peer touching-base or calls on a daily or at least frequent basis? Do you think it would help?

@Teej ☺

The link to the new thread is here @Robert01 ☺ It's a really helpful source of encouragement and motivation. Maybe you'd like to add in some of your plans/goals for the day over there?

Re: Peer to Peer?

hello and welcome @Robert01

my perception of your post is that you are asking something along the lines of...

do some people regularly check in with others as a means of support and empathy...

is that what you are referring to?

if this is the case...yes there are many threads where certain people gather frequently or find themselves drawn to personalities...styles of others....as in the real world...

except in the real world not often the case when the dreaded term "mental illness" surfaces...

apologies in advance

I have to say that I burst out laughing when I read the ending comment you made @Former-Member..

laughing does not happen that often at the moment in my disassociated world....so many many thanks...

do not ever lose or let anyone take away your humour...

humour is my saving grace...

I do hope @Robert01 that you have a strong sense of humour also as you will definitely fit in with others on here ....

there are again many styles of humour used on here....

read some of the other threads....dont take too much notice of titles they often are misleading for new people....I am guilty of the same...

love your avatar too @Former-Member

cheers all

@Former-Member @Robert01

just ignore my response....

did not read the pursuing responses at time of writing...so my response seems very out of context...

another sign that I am not keeping up with the rest of the living

cheers anyway

Re: Peer to Peer?

@Former-Member, thanks foe getting my humour in that response. The comments following made me feel my levity was inappropriate and out of place. So I apologise to @Robert01 if my comment was offensive in any way.
Dinosaurs are awesome @Former-Member!

@Former-Member

I didn't read your response as offensive in the least...

very cleverly put as a matter of fact...love your type of humour

I am just renowned for putting my foot in it ...so tend to tread rather gingerly at times...

Re: Peer to Peer?

@Former-Member, to steal a quote from I don't know where:
I have a size 7 mouth and a size 8 foot, so once I get it in there it remains stuck!
Happens to all of us, me more than most.

@Former-Member
