Psssssst @Former-Member,

Look, this is me being super good and following @NikNik's instructions to keep threads on track (notice I tagged NikNik so that she won't miss this moment of my awesomeness ). Based on NikNik's instructions, I figured maybe we need a new space for checking in.

I am FINALLY feeling brighter after having my second session with TTT today. It is SUCH a relief to finally have connected with someone who I feel super safe with. It is tricky at the moment because we are in that super early stage where she knows nothing about me and thus I have to go through the whole looooooooong story all over again. However, assuming she doesn't get squashed by a bus or something, I can see that in time she will be able to help me unmuddle my muddle a bit.

It is super hard starting over. She knows so little about me at the moment and yet already she is being brutally honest about the fact that it is going to take quite a bit of time to unmuddle the muddle. I am a bit scared that as the story comes out more, we are going to shift from "this is going to take quite some time" to "I'm sorry Phoenix_Rising, but some of this is simply never going to be fixed." Sigh...

Anyway, I am so very very glad I found TTT. How are you and Mr Darcy going at the moment? Is it super hot in your part of the world. It has cooled down here in Sydney now. The other day it reached 47 degrees at my place which is quite absurd. Happily I have airconditioning so S and I just hid in the house all day.

Hi @Determined and @Former-Member,

This little turtle is still superly duperly struggling, and likely will be for quite a while. I super appreciate the fact that you take an interest in my muddles even though you are so busy caring for your respective loved ones.

I was reading the Topic Tuesday thread and hearing about how hard the caring gig is for both of you. It shouldn't be this hard! It really really really shouldn't be this hard. In the future people are going to look back at the hopelessly inadequate way that we are dealing with MH issues at this point in history and laugh at the absurdity of it. I so very badly wish we could change the world NOW!

Thank you @Determined. I hope this doesn't sound weird, but it feels kind-of nice to know that you, who loves your darling so amazingly wonderfully deeply, can have a tinsy tiny little bit of leftover caring for this wonky little turtle. I think your darling is deeply blessed to have you.

I do hope that somewhere along the way you find some rest for your soul and that your struggles become lighter.

Hi @Determined and @Former-Member,

@Former-Member I super like your new avatar. Did you figure out how to make pictures? The two cartoons you posted made me giggle a lot.

I am feeling calmer now. I no longer feel lonely, and as I said to TTT on Monday, I don't have any interpersonal issues when I'm alone.

I hope you and your respective loved ones are travelling ok. I was thinking of you both on Tuesday when we had a really interesting discussion about mindfulness over in Lived Experience town during Topic Tuesday. I really am a big fan of mindfulness.
