the other problem with when i get into that state i dont have a filter and actually speak my mind lol. i was riding and someone said that i ride really well but then went on to try and correct me. i knew exactly what i was doing wrong and i was ignoring them and kinda let a comment slip 'yeah not bad for someone who hasnt ridden in over a yr from a bad fall and on a horse that hasnt been ridden in a few months- think im doing alright' oops...... they were shocked and walked away with their mouths open.
they did come up to me afterwards and asked if i really hadnt ridden in a yr and that really i didnt ride like it. i shut my mouth with that one was more polite and jsut done what i needed to do.
i felt bad but it was the state i was in. it was the im having a friggin hard time, and unless somesones dying do not talk to me.

haha you! im sure your never in trouble 😉
they were one of those people where they werent coming from their heart it was them being nosy. their facial expressions and tone of voice gave it away quicker than anything lol. it doesnt matter how much of a state im in i can always read people

Hehe @outlander even hubby says I speak my mind and have no filter ![]()
Oh well!
You always seem good at reading people hun which is such a good thing to have. I despise nosey people who are more into gossiping than finding out how you are.

hehe lol @Former-Member well people shouldnt be nosy but rather ask with an open heart, if they dont want the real answer than dont ask.
the only time i step in and help someone is if they are really struggling and no one is helping them or its kids that are getting really frsutrated and not listening to their parents. ill ask parent first then give them a quick pointer or 2 let them get it then walk away or if they ask for help.
yes its a skill indeed sometimes i wish i was oblivious, makes it hard to just walk away from it but it comes in handy

@outlanderthat could be a job, teaching kids to ride horses. Are there any place around there you could do that?

i done that for a few yrs already @Former-Member it was ok to do but after a while it sucks the fun out of it.
its good though and occassionally i still volunteer to help out with the kids.
