Re: rough time

@outlander - you post could have been written by me or Snowie or in fact anyone else here. This is the function of the forums. It's for support.

@Sans911
Your post has made me a little teary but you and snow often have that effect. I am so glad i didnt upset you.once i read what i had wrote i thought it was really insensitive in my head and i think everyones voice matters and id hate to dampen that in anyway.
I did have a meltdown earlier. I wanted to end it right then and there but instead it turned to tears and just kept safe. Those thoughts are there and so are the sh urges but im safe at least.
I wish i was that remarkable person and yes you are right have seen and experienced etc alot and half the time i dont know what to do with it except when i come on here and can reaonate and share an experience that way. It just becomes this big overwhelming mess that feels like im carrying the world.

My artworks are on the floor atm and when i walked in the door earlier i was going to throw them all out but i also think i wouldve regretted that to so they are still on the floor. I wish i could get that joy back for the arts. I feel very bleh towards it.

Ill see about emailling bpd foundation tomorrow but i dont think they can help further as i had to go searching through all the sites.

I need you too.I wouldnt know where i would be without the support of you and Snowie and my forum friends. Thank you for being here for me and with me 💝

Re: rough time

As a carer you do not need to be a short order chef @outlander Just a positive bit of help ...

You do not always need to hit his spot ... start talking about managing the food expectations.... but dont expect great praise ... be a bit detached and cheerfully business like ... do what you do well ... and sometimes cook a great soup so he starts hanging out for your real soups as oppposed to the canned ones.

As a young woman you have a right to develop your own cooking style .. go for it Bella.

Human nature ... you give em roasts every day ... they will complain and get bored ...

As an adult he can fend for himself ... give hints and provde healthy snacks ... only one specially prepared meal .... and he can cook too. Teach him spag bol ... or something easy that he likes ...and then that can be his thing ... to bring to the table ... we are in 21 st century now .. and boys learn to cook these days ... sick or not ...

Thanks @MDT sleep well and good luck for tomorrow

Thank you @Appleblossom

He can fend for himself to an extent. I dont like him cooking in the kitchen though as hes left the stovetops on or the oven on and ive not been home at thr time so i dont mind cooking it bothers me that it seems he just doesnt like my cooking.
He cooks porridge and a few other things that are kinda easy but only when im home.

Ive always got healthy things in the house but he hardly touches them but if put something unhealthy in the house its gone in a day or so. We have mandarines in the house and hes had a few of those the past few days so thats a good start but like you said if its to repetitive he goes off them so itll be a different fruit next week or 2 fruits. I find most fruits too sweet except for melons and some grapes so i tend not to eat those myself

He seems to be stuck in his ways so i guess its just learning to detach roll my eyes and walk away like i usually do. It doesnt usually affect me to much but whe it seems to be costant or he catches me on a day like today nothing gets brushed off it just seems to be absorbed.

Re: rough time

DOnt let him being a twerp get to you.

I was a carer for my grandfather for a few months when I was 20. My grandfather was very simple in his food requests and very grateful I travelled to see him and cook.

Boiled eggs ... dont set the bar too high for yourself ... simple ..

I need to log off ...

Hope you settle tonight Bella
