Ok thank you everyone for responding
@catgirl
thank you for letting me know of your experiences, ive been told dbt is really good but I cant get into the community one for a while yet. Im on the list but still a while away so im trying to find another one where I can go on the mhcp or an arrangment that a little more affordable than the full mount per session. Lol yes I caught that mistake.
If im only there for a night or 2 they just throw meds at me, when I was there for a few days during my first admission I was there for a little over a week and they did help me quite a bit but I dont really want nor can I afford to do that. That was abit rude to say of them, even if it was a joke...
thank you for your help, much appreciated ![]()
@Shaz51
thanks, and im here if you want to talk about it more ![]()
@Former-Member
thank you for reading back and for helping me ![]()
@Former-Member
im really glad you had a good day, thats good to hear!
the sleeping tablets are really addictive and can only be used very minimally and only for 2 months at a time for 3 nights per week then I have to go off them. They need clearance as they are both high risk- one being addictive the other being hard on the liver with possible liver damage so everything has to be monitored closely.
I stoppd anti-depressants about mid yr last yr but it really wasnt going well at all. And ive finally found a dose that works but I cant handle the weight gain from them so am reducing them
and thank you for your help much appreciated ![]()
@Former-Member
ive got an app in my phone that tells me when and how long to take them, it also give me the chance to list anything ive noticed like side effects. I also journal as well so can monitor that way as well. The medications are a worry but im not coping on my own. The sleep tablets are only for a little while. Maybe next time I see my psychiatrist she could recommend another tablet thats more long term as well. No family has all moved out its just me and pop living here but still have the roles of caring for them just not as much. Pop is becoming a handful on his own though. Im not sure if you were here when I lost my second job as well. The farmhand one I no longer have.
Thank you for your help as well ![]()
@Former-Member

One stage,some other family were going to move in with you,glad that didn't eventuate @outlander@.I did read you lost the job and I know you'd miss the cash in hand but it is hard to deal with pathetic behaviour of people.
I see my mother deteriorate @outlander,and mentally as well and it's hard on my own and she plays on me now I get the allowance which I knew she would.I used to enjoy going to work to escape family,I feel trapped.I know how stressful it is.
All you can do is try the medication and see how it makes you feel.
