hey sweets, mum is all over the place, poor luv. she is getting quite paranoid about things now as well. she has a uti which isnt helping either. i stayed with her all day. she deteriorates throughout the day. tonight she was adamant she was coming home, wouldnt take no for an answer and was getting very irate with me. i got the doctor in to tell her that she can't come home. poor luv. she did get reviewed by psych, they are looking at her meds. basically, it could be the uti exacerbating depression, it could be depression/antipsychotic behaviours or could be onset of dementia ... too much going on for her poor luv. it just spent time with her. it was nice but stressful at times. how are you luv? hows your hand?

the previous uti cleared up, i think this is another one luv 😞 shes having such a rough time atm.
im kind of okay. today was a very long day. i was at the hospital for about 10 hours. i talked with nurses, psychiatrist and social worker. im sitting here trying to remember everything they told me. too much information luv!
we're in limbo at the moment as we dont know what is causing mum to be behaving like this. i want a further acat reassessment but before that can happen, we need to know what is going on with mum to determine how much support we need. it sounds odd but i understood what she is saying. we gotta see if our existing home care provider can provide us with extra assistance first.
oh sweetheart, im so sorry about your headache 😞 sounds like u havent had a great day. did you spend the day with your sisters luv?
xxxxxxxx

as people get older they can be more prone to uti's . mum's just having a really bad run of them atm 😞
yup, am sitting here thinking back to the conversation i had with the psych and reading up on small vessel ischaema as he mentioned the mri shows signs of it. poor mama 😞
far out luv, you havent slept for 3 days. no wonder you have a headache 😞 ooh, a bath be lovely tomorrow! you can hopefully relax a bit and just soak in the bath tub!
aaw bless, i hope i'll be able to sleep tonight. i got up pretty early so hopefully i will. but i'll probably go to bed and all the stuff from today will be swirling around my head!
keep telling myself one day at a time. but i am proud with how i am dealing with things, and taking action when i need to at the hospital. didnt think i could do it, but i am 🙂
