@outlander I'm sorry, I don't want to put this onto you or anyone else. You have enough to deal with.
That sounds like a busy day to me. I hope you get some sleep tonight

@outlanderI know what you would say to that. I waited over an hour for SCBS last night and then got disconnected, not going down that path again. I have already spoken to someone but it still doesn't make any difference, those thoughts are still there and nothing works. See, said too much again.

Nothing has helped so far @outlander so why would that change now. Why was I stupid enough to think that anything would help.

Hi @Snowie,
I'm not planning to hang around too much tonight, but I just wanted to let you know I am reading along. There ARE things that can help @Snowie, but the challenge is finding someone to help you access those things. There is a strong research base to show that things like EMDR and neurofeedback really help with trauma-related issues.
I don't really understand how medication is supposed to help heal trauma. To me it seems that all they do with medication is keep increasing it until the person is so zombified, they can't feel anything. Coping strategies are just that - coping strategies. These are super SUPER helpful in terms of helping us survive, but again, they don't actually HEAL.
I guess I just wanted to let you know that I can hear how much the things you have tried thus far haven't helped as much as you would like, but this does not mean the situation is hopeless. Trauma truly can be healed - I just wish it wasn't this hard to find helpful help! ![]()
