Hmm they sound good for noisyness @SleepyPanda i usually just stick my earphones in and music but it gets too loud that way as well. Hopefully mum will be home soon and can pick them up.

Re: rough time

I would hate that too @Snowie, Hard to build up trust when you feel you disrespected.

Re: rough time

@outlander,this morning I'm thinking of giving up my GP,as I know I'm just humiliating myself and though he means well,can't help me.

Just take a breath,then discuss if needed what went on.GPs don't know much about mental health,they often have a narrow perspective of throwing meds at you and ignorant of side effects.You have been doing your best to cut down meds and walking,that's all you can do.💭

@Former-Member @Former-Member 💙💛

I went in told her i was having trouble sleeping and not coping well. She said theyve tried everything so i dont have any other options. So no more sleep options. She said when im awake then do something like read or something till i fall back asleep.
Ive gone off the meds and she agreed as it was causing my weight to be damaging to my physical health plus my self esteem then she said for those 'and you dont want to be on them and no other options for you weve tried everything'
She said well you dont have any other options so i guess i can just see you monthly to refill your (my) scripts ( the ones i still have ).

Re: rough time

@outlander,she hadn't given up on you but it's what I basically realised:if you can't row your own boat,no one can do it for you.Meds aren't the answer and I think you know that by your efforts to do relaxation exercises at night.The meds the dr gave me calmed me,but their side effects the next day I think only contribute to my SC thoughts.

She was just being honest,I think you knew inside,it's just hard to hear.

Just try not to get down like me,unless you or someone else feels you need a second opinion.

Re: rough time

Thanks @Former-Member i hope you have abit more success with your gp.
And no im not getting second opinions. I knew these were already my last options but didnt expect her to drop her support either but thats why i have the stupid psych i suppose.
