My sweet Lee, I am so sorry you had to endure that as a child. No child ever deserves to live in fear. Sounds like your inner child could use some love and protection as well. I know better than anyone that just because you can see someone's behaviours as an adult doesn't mean that we can easily brake their hold over us. We have to realise that they have been controlling, manipulating and abusing us for so long that it is going to take lots and lots and lots of small baby steps to break it. I don't think either of us think we can but it can be done with the right self love and the support of MH Professionals as well as each other. Please believe me that I will be there with every small forward step and I will be equally as much for any backwards steps. Know that as much as I don't think I am any good for you, I can't walk away either because of how much you mean to me. @Lee82 💖Izzy
