Re: rough time

@outlander - glad it was a simple mistake. I'd be asking for a contact number if you go with her, and what the process is if you're in crisis and need to call her. Mind you, most pyschologists I've known will tell you they can't be relied on in a crisis as they may be with a client.

I'll be thinking of you later today. I hope it goes well.

Re: rough time

I am pretty patient with people @Former-Member and because I dont actually see her as a client of hers right now then its not a major drama. When I was in psychology I did get very anxious waiting on things like that, I was running late for an appt before and tried ringing and was really panicing. I often find I dont rely on psychologists due to past psychs. She did apologise which was nice, I am still yet to actually talk to her as sometimes her emails come across as arrogant but sometimes its hard to tell.

Im up to paperwork now, the horses only took 2 hrs but I am tired after that. I forgot how much I use to do! Ive filled in 2 of pops paperwork things, just have one more and then the kids thing then I am done and can get back to working on something else.

Me too, @Sans911 I am thankful she answers her emails quite quickly too. I generally dont rely on pscyhologists, although it would be nice, they need time off too. There was only one psychologist who done after hrs and thinks like that and that was when I was in the suicide prevention program. I could call up until 7pm and then after 8am. They also linked me in with a helpline that runs within their program so if I was to ring at 12 oclock at night to this helpline my psychologist had the records already there. So really anytime between 33o onwards is when im expecting a phone call. I dont plan on going anywhere else though, I ate something earlier thats set my stomach off so not feeling all that great. Im up to paperwork now, only 2 more lots to go. Then will be working on my strategies- still sorting them out into what works best for each mh state im in. actually remember how we done urge surfing together- I cant remember the steps that we did but I remember finding it helpful. I cant seem to find any clear instructions on the internet either- could you help me forumlate some steps that I can refer to when I do that? Doesnt have to be now but maybe later on?

Re: rough time

they are in the wrong and they know it @Former-Member the unblocked me and decided to have a conversation

the conversation went like this

them 'we thought we should contact you to explain why you were deleted and blocked. the reason is you contributed too much to the group'

i responded- can you give me some example then because i have contributed to around 4 posts, and 3 posts of my own in the time i have been on that site.

they blocked me for a few minutes then unblocked me again

them- yes and that was too much, you should have only posted the one post and im becoming to reliant on 2 certain people (which were the 2 having the problem with me in the first place and not once did i contact them first, nor did i ask them to comment on anything i said)

me- i commented on on 4 other posts that were asking for help in ways to manage this and this and the other 2 were really pretty pictures of where they lived and all i said was it looks really pretty there. the first post i ever done on your site was becasue the admin names (who i was talking to) asked me to, and they guided me through what to say by an exmple which was- what am i diagnosed with, a general run down of me-( i added my nickname, and what i do for work ) and what 3 tips would i give to someone living with these conditions, and also said thank you for adding me. the 2nd post was becasue someone asked me to start a thread to encourage new members to join in so i made it a 'get to know you thread' with some fun questions. and the third one was i was having a really hard night and asked if anyone was a wake to just have a general convo. .

so then i asked so in what way was i over stepping the boundaries when you asked me to do those 2 posts, i never tag members in any post or comment i had made except the original owner of that post, and i never went wrong with any of your rules of the group.and the people that contacted me offline (as in through messenger) came to me for help not the other way around. also why is it everyone else is making all these daily posts with rants, and questions and they dont get deleted? also i think that convo with the friendship requests was really uncalled for when you could have been straight up and either explained that with a chance to redeem myself or then delete me.

them- we dont have to explain anything to you- have a nice life

blocked again.

seriously how low is that?

Re: rough time

and of all the times that the new pscyh rings was straight after that was was bit off kilter and well all over the place and really had no idea what to say. it was only a 10 minute convo- she explained the mhcp the way it worked and her fees upfront (then i claim back), i said that i saw a pscyhologist last yr but didnt click and havent been back since, im struggling to do it on my own and am giving therapy another chance. i didnt go into any other details. she said who is my gp- i told her and she knows her through other client referals. she sounded ok and willing to work with me so organised an appt of next thursday at 10am.. she sent me a confirmation letter and the directions to her private practice. they sound really complicated and is making me nervous esp walking in somewhere enclosed (have to walk down a lane way, buzz through a big colourbond fence, then around the back into the waiting room/office). the best way to contact her is through email or through the home/office number

so im feeling abit all over the place right about now.

Re: rough time

ok will do this in two separate messages.

@outlanderit is very low and I know you want to know why they blocked you, however by responding gives them more power. Block them, delete them, never to be seen again. You don't need toxic people in your life hun. No one does but unfortunately there are some really nasty people out there.

You are so much better then them.

Re: rough time

ok, part 2 @outlander

Glad you have got an appt. next Thursday. She seems nice and if it is going to help you then that is a bonus.

Perhaps if you have time you can go check out where you have to go before next Thursday so on the day you feel more comfortable.

Re: rough time

@outlander - those people are idiots. Forget about them. You are much better than them. Unfortunately, there are groups like this on fb that have a bit of an ego trip. I have pulled out groups like this because of their treatment of others.

Well done with getting an appointment. I hope it goes well next week
