No you shouldn't have to speak to her @outlander that is your mothers job.
Can you just say she has been asking some questions so I think it might be time for you to talk to her about puberty.

For goodness sake @outlander ... you should not have to be forced into being their defacto mother! I cannot believe your mother is so irresponsible and neglectful of her own children. Honestly!!!
Okay Sherry ... take a breath and start again. Sorry @outlander I just get so exasperated that you have to do so much for your siblings, when they actually have a mother.
Right .. So I dont know too much about this stuff. But, as far as I know, schools go into a lot of this. Perhaps ask her if the school has had any talks on 'growing up'. Is she mature for her age, maybe a little older or younger than her classmates? Other than that .. can you suggest to your mum that you have noticed that she is growing up fast (your mum probably hasnt even noticed) and it would be an opportune time to talk to her about it. Just out of curiosity .. did your mother ever talk to you at that age?
Sherry 💕

my brain is fried tonight @outlander so haven't got really any suggestions for you. I think my daughter learnt it in about year 5 at school but I had the talk with her ealier then that.
Perhaps remind your mum that girls are getting their periods earlier these days so she needs to talk to her. I don't even know if there are any good books that she could read.

@outlanderit should be between mother and daughter, you are right.
Perhaps give it a little longer and see if your mum talks to her. You can usually tell when they are going to start it. Perhaps for now just look for the signs.
Sorry I'm not much help tonight
