Re: rough time

I don't understand how I cant just be happy @Snowie I know life is tough but I should be use to it and just be able to move on from things.
my sister just got a first car but instead of feeling happy I really don't, I don't even want to be around anyone. I don't know why I feel the way I do. so I had a shower thinking that might help abit but I come out to a msg that was full of attitude from her, just seems that everyone always expects the worst of me when it comes to well everything. just made me feel even worse.
I can never celebrate anything and I hide everything good (and bad) from everyone here because it seems to take the joy out of everyone else lives and that im attention seeking etc.

Re: rough time

@outlanderwe are only human hun. There is no one that is happy 100% of the time.

I don't think we every get just "used to it" We are going through incredibly hard things and that comes with its ups and downs.

Happy is just a mood like sadness, joy, anger, frustration, etc. We experience lots of different moods in just a short period of time. Perhaps you need some time to yourself hun. Just because you don't want to be around them doesn't mean you are not pleased for your sister. We all show our moods in many different ways.

You are not being an attention seeker hun, how you feel is very valid and real. Hugs

Re: rough time

Yeah, I guess your right @Snowie
I don't even know what to say to her. before I could say im happy for you or congrats or whatever people are suppose to say in this occasion, my throat got jumped down for something I didn't even say. when I said I never said that the response was 'yeah I know, im just getting in front before you say something like that' shes sent other msgs telling me about it but I don't care, haven't marked them as read and just staying off social media for now because itll say im online. don't really know what to say. im actually dreading tomorrow now when I have to take them to school because I know what the topic is going to be. and I have her from lunch time as well which means more conversations that I don't want to have. I have to try and act happy or something but its the last thing I feel atm. I don't even like being around them atm, I need a break from them. from everyone here but one or 2 days isn't enough. its like I need a lifetime away.

im suppose to be going on holiday with them (not my choice just dragged into it as always and now I cant get out of it 😞 ) and its the last place I want to be. ive tried getting out of it but I causes more arguments then what its worth. you know how you just want something over and done with even though its suppose to be a nice time?- that's the way I feel about it which is upsetting.

it honestly does feel like attention seeking. if I share something bad I get the grunts or the sighs like what now. if I share something good like I finished my studying or im starting up the business its like im taking everything away from everyone else.

Re: rough time

Hugs from me too @outlander.

We don't have to have a reason for feeling upset if we don't want to or can't feel it or work it out .... it can be enough that it just is that way, if we allow it to.

Re: rough time

Ouch! That's just harsh getting in first before you've even said anything. Gosh @outlander you cop a hard time from everyone.

I can't see that you're an attention seeker. Not from your interactions and behaviour here which I imagine isn't that far removed from how you really are.

You can't control others behaviours and attitudes. And the way that they are is more a reflection of them. Not you. So don't buy into it. And although it's hard, try not to see it as a personal threat. They will learn their hardest lessons yet.

Your time will come to be away from all this behaviour, taunts and selfishness. You will have your time to be you in the world, and I'm sure people will know and like you for the wonderful qualities we see here.

Re: rough time

Thanks @Faith-and-Hope
it just seems like silly or pathetic things setting it off at the moment rather then something to actually be upset over. I guess there doesn't always have to be a reason though..

Re: rough time

yeah I don't even know what to say now @Sans911 all I can think to say is 'ok' or 'cool' or 'sounds good' to any msg I get now.
not really even reading the msgs now just giving generic responses which feels unusual and 'fake' (not sure if that makes sense though) its not the way I usually respond to things. I feel weird.
