Today I did not go to a workshop on Self Care and Sustainablility and the Climate Crisis. It was more important for me to stay resting for my head ache ... but I really like the title and emphasis of the workshop. They planned to have it under a tree. and it was called "Fire as Fuel for Expression, Compasison and Action". They were donating part of tix to Bushfires, but not fueling hysteria and fear about them. It seemed a wise approach. The woman called herself a Sustainability Psychologist. There might be interesting resources on the web.
For me one of the weird things which has casued me a lot of deep personal and quiet shame, even though it also seemed irrational, was that I am an Aries, ie a fire sign. I kept rejecting all the qualities of my star sign. I do not follow astrology particularly, but friends did and it was just a quiet way I would self sabotage. Most of my close family also were Fire signs eg mother, both maternal grandparents, 2 daughters and 2 brothers. I am on a cusp and always preferred to say I was a mix of fire and water and developed my watery side. Anyway, thats just me.
Take Care
