Re: rough time

Hi @outlander

I'm glad you found the post - I can't find it either - I think it was very long - the ones we lose - or notice we lose - are never the short ones with a few emojis attached - always the ones we almost give birth to - the ones we sweat over etc - think about - ah well

It's good you are seeing the surgeon again soon, it should not have been so hard to recover from - wisdom teeth seem to cause a lot of trouble esp when they impact and they do so often

Yes - I seem to be working up a supportive team - my GP, now a psychologist and I saw this pain specialist a long time ago and he is a very kind man - being in the private system does give us choice. It's only 2.5 weeks until I see the pain specialist - and I will be glad to get there - the weather in Melbourne has been at its worst lately - spring can be unpredictable but this is at it's worse - yuk. At least it's not my own personal storm cloud - everyone here seems to be running from door way to door way through icy showers

I flew over New South Wales twice in September - dry - I am glad you are getting showers at least this spring and there is green grass - for the animals and indeed - just to see - green is easy on the vision - it's pretty green in Melbourne though it was dry in East Gippsland when I was there last autumn and there were fires in the mountains at the time - I think there usually are but the Country Fire Authority cold burns responsibly and this makes the forests safer

I hope your health improves now you have had your wisdom teeth out and I hope the other issues work for you too - you certainly are one of the Aussie Battles - yes

Re: rough time

ah so glad to hear you do have a choice in who you see @Owlunar and that it seems he will be a good fit for you going off past experiences. we all need that good support.
we have a 35 degree heat day here on Tuesday with most other days between 23 and 28 but Tuesday is the one im dreading the most. it makes me nervous to know what to do in the heat. the kids are suppose to be at school but then my anxiety pipes up saying they'll get sick from the heat however mum is at work and ive got other things planned as well. I honestly hate the heat.

Re: rough time

We have had a few hot days here to @outlander - I used to really like it when I was younger but not now

I know you are anxious that your sisters might get sick - I understand - but if they have plenty of water and keep out of the sun during the hot part of the day they should be okay - but what do you do though - you will be anxious

I get it - I hear you -

Re: rough time

Thanks @Owlunar hopefully with humidity abit lower it wont seem so bad. They usually send kids home about 38 degrees unless theres a cool breeze keeping it bearable. Most of nsw schools were suppose to be getting air conditioners installed but none of our local schools or surrounds have had any work started. That was over a year ago.

Re: rough time

Its scary to think tomorrows fire danger warning will now be catatstrophie! A few people (including the property owners) asked for me to be part of the properties (2 properties) management team in the event of a fire/energency. Bit scary to think about but seems like we have a few precautions in place. So help me if a fire appears and this plan needs to come into action 😥😥😥 myself and 2 others have spent some of the arvo since warning have been upgraded organising everything and asked owners to set things up like filling their horses waters, removing rubbish, horse rugs etc and i have the work phones. Tomorrow us 4 will be on watch throughout the day and goIng around checking horses removing rugs putting the mane clips with owner details if theu havent been able to get there .
Weve never had catatstrophie dangers here. Where we live is safe though. The property however is more in the bush surrounded by mountains. The warnings have gone from the current area where ll the fire rating to most of nsw 😲😬😦 all fingers are crossed none of these plans have to come into action. Wednesday will be a welcomed relief!

Re: rough time

I hope your precautions won't be needed @outlander. It's pretty scary what they're predicting. I'm not looking forward to the heat.

I'll be thinking of you. Good luck 💚💜💚

Re: rough time

I've never heard the fires called catastrophic either @outlander. Sounds like a scary, busy time for you and others.

Re: rough time

Yeah we dont usually get past severe warnings here so its quite worrying. Hopefully we all get through tomorrow with miminal concerns. Where we are after tomorrow the dangers passed (as long as no fires start etc) goes right back to ideal weather conditions.
@Sans911

How are you going? Hows your days been? If you want to talk of course ❤
