@outlander It would be really really hard watching pop deteriorate. You are doing all you can, but help is needed, for both of you. I know you know that. The meeting is coming up, hopefully support, sooner, rather than later.
Sorry the trauma stuff has been triggered. I understand how a scream can do that.
Any plans today?

I’m pleased today is looking quiet for you @outlander . I wish you could get some rest, but that won’t happen with pain. Online bills is good. It’s a shame we can’t do that with washing, oh well. 🤷♀️🤷♀️
I will see kind of friend later today. Just bits and pieces here and there. I’ve packed most things, so .......tricky. Hope I don’t have to wait too long.😩😩🌧
Heading to the shower and local tree. Take care where you can @outlander 💜💜💜💜

Hi @outlander hope you did manage some rest at least overnight and that your pain is less this morning. Good idea to put off what you can and do low-energy chores today - pain takes it's toll at so many levels. Thinking of you, especially the trauma triggered by the girl's scream yesterday. I totally get that, would be the same for me. When it comes up try to take some deep breaths and do a mindfulness exercise like naming 5 things you can see - to bring you back into the now. Take care, I care xx
LOL re virtual washing @Maggie ! I wish we could do that with showering and grooming ourselves too - like in an old Woodie Allen movie - just step into a pod, push a button and step out again all done up for the day!

@outlander there's one that starts with v that is pretty good for dental pain - perhaps ask the chemist about it. Before I had my dentures I went through hell with my teeth (lots were broken at the roots in a dv incident) ... root canal, abscesses around the roots and nerves that then burst - pain so extreme that I would be moaning coz I couldn't bear it - so I think I get how full on it must be for you. The chemist should def be able to help you find more relief.
I'm at home this morning then support worker taking me to psychologist and chemist this afternoon. At some stage I need to have a look at my WRAP (wellness recovery action plan) folder and tidy it up to show my peer mentor and new coordinator of supports. At the moment it's got many pages where I've just hand written in updates or added things to lists (e.g. wellness toolbox, contact lists, meds, crisis and post-crisis plans ....) so it looks pretty scrappy. Bro and sil have wanted me to an electronic version for over 2 years and I haven't gotten it together still!
Also would be good if I did some short story or prose writing as I start with a new writers group on Sunday. Really looking forward to that.
