It is a really great pic @Sans911 that would be one of my faves that ive seen even offline. Its a lasting one in my mind. Do you mind if i save it if i can find the pic again?
Youve so many travel stories , i love hearing about them when you feel up for and feel ok about sharing them. Im sorry about the bitter sweet ones though hugs for those 💙
Oh that really sucks about your camera! It might be cheaper to replace it rather then fix it..?
Yep the horse club we are with have plenty of opportunity for those shots esp jumping, vaulting and alot of the speed and teamwork games.

Dear @outlander ... I hope you managed to get a little more rest, if not sleep, in the later hours of early morning. It seemed like you were awake all night. Clearly your apt today is playing on your mind, as well as your painful mouth, jaw and face.
Anyway I wanted to let you know I will be thinking of you today. Hope everything goes well. I await further news once its all over and done with.
@Sans911 ... you reminded me of my South Africa and Zimbabwe travels with all your talk there about wildlife and Vic Falls. I was there in 1983, and loved it all. Lots of travel all around SA and saw lots of animals. I particularly loved the giraffes, and have some lovely photos of them. Such serene, stately looking creatures. But also saw lots of lions, rhinos, elephants, springboks, etc. Victoria Falls were incredible, and we did a cruise in the river above the falls as well. Plus a small plane flight all around. Really spectacular. And yeah, saw heaps of hippos in the river. 1983 was pre digital camera days, and all my photos were negatives and developed photos. Unfortunately I have no idea where all my SA and Zim photos are now. I travelled with my sister and she kept the photos, when she married she dumped heaps of stuff. And when I asked later if I could have a look through the photos and pick a few out, she said she didnt have them any more. I was really annoyed. All I have left are a couple of pics I had blown up, framed and put on my wall. They are of Vic Falls. I had also blown up a lovely giraffe one and had it framed, but my sister had it. We used to own a house together before we married, hence the reason she kept the photos, because I married and moved out. She married years later, but still in our original home. Even the photo of the giraffe, which was ours, she has dumped somewhere. Wish I'd known, but she never told me she was getting rid of stuff. Clearly the photos meant nothing to her. Oh well, even though I dont have the photos, I still have the memories. @outlander I love that you do photography, an interest for you and a very constructive one too. You are clearly very good at it.
Have a good day all. @outlander @Sans911 @Teej @Snowie @Maggie
