so sorry @outlander did not receive notification that you had responded..
I am not sure whether or not you have already tried this..
will suggest just in case..
ring the surgery where you had the operation and ask to speak to a nurse as you have some concerns..
even if you have been given written information you have every right to make the call...
that is so much to deal with physically....
part of any operation is having access to talk to someone re any concerns after...so you are not alone...you are not putting anyone out just in case you are worried about that..
as for permanent...steer your mind away from that..
it is very early days and your body is still trying to heal itself..
re pop situation...are you saying that you have to pay for his hearing aids?
this is not something that you can assist with at the moment..
your mum having a new job is a financial help for the family..
however her children are not your responsibility..
she is their mum she needs to sort it out...find help elsewhere..
I know that you feel that you are the only one to look after these family members..
If you were in hospital who would have to step up and take over?
Consider that you are in rehabilitation and if you are not able to rehabilitate there you will have to do so elsewhere..
then your mum will have to change her schedule temporarily..
Sorry to sound so blunt.
I have had to do this in the past with my ex-husband when sharing custody of our children.
you have no choice in this at the moment if you want to recover from the surgery..
you have to look after you only for now..
You are constantly being placed in an extremely difficult situation where you are expected to do the caring no matter what.
This attitude is wrong.
If you can't talk to your mum...write her a letter and leave it where she will find it..
are you able to stay anywhere else for a while?

hello @outlander
rehabilitation is rehabilitation...not caring for others at the same time..
very sorry to be so blunt..
you are so accustomed to putting others first and yes I agree wholeheartedly is very difficult..
job wise yes too.
at end of day they have to deal with it..you are not well enough
contraception side would be best for you to speak to someone in the area that you have volunteered as those are very understandable concerns...
again you would not be alone in feeling that way..
best to get medical advise from qualified medical people..
will try to check in later
sorry to be so hard on you...❣

Hi @outlander and @Sophia1 🙂
I'm around for a few hours, but, I have a meeting or two coming up.
Pretty darn warm outside. I'm heading out to my farm this arvo, but, might hold off an hour or two and see if it cools down a little.
I'm not sure how people get by these days, everything is so expensive. I was joking the other day that everyone will be vegan soon due to meat prices getting so expensive.

Thanks @outlander ,
We've made the executive decision to cancel the meetings while our manager is on holidays. Happy days. I'm glad this week is almost done and dusted.
Lets hope for a cool change soon 🙂
Ahoy @Former-Member , hope are doing okay 🙂 ![]()
