Hes been in a mood today. Sometimes hes harder to be around then kids @Sans911
Started this morning. He asked if i wanted a tea and i said 'yes but ill make it the way it needs to be made at the moment'
Him- slams the spoon in the cup. ' are you in a mood yet again'
I said 'no i was just getting a cup and that i have to make my teas a different way for now' and then says well obviously you are. Picks up his tea and goes in the bedroom.
Then before i had a few things to do like scan and send papers to his specialist. And i forgot i needed his pill names and doses so asked if he could just run down to the chemist which is 5 min away and he growled at me so i just wrote down note for the chemist what i was after and said again to go down for me.
Next one was i askes if he could just ring his drs and ask them to reprint the referal out for the specialist as ive misplaced it. I said id dial the number and write down what it was i was after. Didn't want to do that either. Managed to convince him to ring but they were closed for lunch break so now have to try and do it. He told me that its my job to do it.
Ive been in quite abit of pain despite pain killers so i only wanted him to ring so i didnt keep stretching the stitches and didn't sound so much like a frog on the phone. Along with that the tingling and itch is starting to drive me bonkers so it was just adding to it.
I have the kids and need to do the horses this arvo but i think since i feel ok to drive i might go watch the waves or something for a while.
Ah yeah, public hospitals are good like that. Always have to cut out half your day to accomodate the one appointment hey. Have you overworked yourself or something to cause the pain or its just decided to flare up today? Hopefully they can help you out while your there.
Sounds like a pretty easy going day for the most part though.

Just asked him to ring drs again for me. Big groan throw the book down and stompped out here :face_with_rolling_eyes:
I know that sometimes he cant help it and generally doesnt mean it but sometimes his attitude and actions are hard to be near and its overwhelming almost having someone who is older but acts like a child and/or needs to be treated like a child in some aspects.

Oh dear hun @outlander. He's not very helpful or understanding is he? I'm sorry this is on your shoulders.
Some time out watching the ocean sounds like a pleasant idea.
The pain is in my sternum, where they cut my ribs. It flared up last night and has continued today. I've taken my pain meds already but didn't take the stronger one as I was out and about & it can sometimes have unpredictable side effects like low blood pressure.
I really didn't know want to get out of bed today as I was quite tired. The cats have been waking me a little earlier by being naughty in the morning. It hasn't helped that I've not been going to sleep until quite late.

Thanks @Gazza75 i didnt get to the beach yet though, im abit tired now from being at the horses for almost 2 hours so might save that for another day.

He seems to get into these moods often esp since his memory is declining further @Sans911
I know he gets frustrated himself but I don't really think theres a reason to take it all out on me. I cant talk to him about it either as it makes it worse. hes been going most of the day and I regret coming home again now. since ive been back not one family member has been around or offered to help out. im guessing they've realised its not the most exciting job. they probably found it easy as they literally just had to keep and eye on him. they brought him meals over which was much nicer the the soups I had for him but he lost almost a weeks worth of pills somewhere while I was a way and no one knows where they are so just had to fork out another 40 for them. its just taken my loan repayment so im guessing im going to now get a black mark on it and its only the second payment 😞 the house wasn't clean when I got home so I done a few small things since being back home but honestly I just cant be bothered now .
aww that sounds painful, I hope the plastics clinic was helpful today. the stronger pain meds often make me feel abit sick so try to limit those.
does anything help the pain like heat or ice packs or any essential oils?
naughty cats, good to see Jaspers back to his usual self atm though. are your sleeping tablets not helping as much now since your going to bed later?
