Im getting a hair cut in the morning, before taking one to a sporting event and one sister is coming with me to hairdresser before going to her job while mum takes the other for a sporting lesson waiting on some people to pick up some items. Im going to try and get stuck into the housework. Ive got mums bf coming to give me a hand monday for a council cleanup cause i cant lift the broken pieces of cupboard on my own. And pest control coming the day after the cleanup so need to get the house in order. Have been to lazy to do much of it. I may have to ring the optometrist too. They gave me eye drops for my allergies cause sometimes i cant see they gwt itchy and swollen. It workes well today but i yawned and my eyes got abit watery and it stung like crazy and made it worse. Looked like i was crying but wasnt. Not sure if its cause its a new thing or if its an unusual reaction.
Sounds like itll be a nice easy day for you. You still need to take it easy ( said in my lil sis voice ) Do you have much of your studies to catch up on?

Re: rough time
I have another assignment I need to start soon. And I'm about a week behind with the modules. I was a little ahead before surgery but then I had to focus solely on the assignment.
This semester's subject is easier than last semester.
I wouldn't say you are lazy with housework @outlander. I think it's probably one of those those things that gets put down lower on the priority list. It's certainly that way with me (even before the surgery). Especially with everything else you have going on it must be hard to keep up. And you're cleaning for 2 people.

Re: rough time
Im glad this subject is easier @Sans911 im proud of you for getting that assignment done ❤
Hmm yeah i think being tired and drained and busy esp atm has been a contributing factor. I dont like a messy house , i think by the time ive cleaned one room pops in another making more mess. I am completely dreading trying to get his room cleaned up. Never lasts more then a few hours so ill leave that till last
Im not keeping you up am i?

Re: rough time
Nope you're not keeping me up hun. I'm in bed; cats are asleep down the end. I'd tell you if I needed to go. I'm tired but not quite ready for sleep. Probably in about 20mins or so.
Oh that's so hard when you are tidy and another is not. When my mum stayed in my place while I was in hospital my unit was very clean. Dishes were washed and put away (I never do that). Laundry was folded straight away. Little things like that. It was nice, but relying on my mum to do things for me is really hard & I feel bad/guilty.

Re: rough time
Ok @Sans911 can you give the cats a pat for me when they are up.. Ive been up almost 24hrs now but im not really that tired prob cause all ive had the last few nights full of nightmares 😑😑😑
I dont put the dishes away straight away or at all. Laundry gets washed but not folded and put away all that often. I understand that guilt for having others do things for me too. When i done my hand i needed quite abit of help. Couldnt even put my hair up. That was one of the most annoying ones. Im glad that your mum is there, its hard accepting help when we're so use to being independent but you also deserve that love and care so you can recover 💜💙
