Re: rough time

@outlander, you have a lot going on and it would be enough to cause anyone a fair degree of angst.

I would try not to worry about other peoples expectations to much, you can't really control that and worrying over it isn't going to do you any good. I understand where you are coming from and it's a natural thing to do, but, with everything else you are juggling and going through it's one less thing to have on your mind and help a bit.

You have to do things for yourself and be comfortable with your own expectations.

I'm not sure if you can reach out for help for the next little while to try and give yourself a bit more breathing room and time to sort things out. It's not a weakness to do that and takes courage.

With your breathing, take it slow and long inhales through your nose, hold it in and the slowly let it go through your mouth. Take your time and try not to let your mind race with to many thoughts and 'what ifs'.

Can you call and check to see how your loan is progressing? You might be able to look somewhere else if it doesn't go through.

In regard to your specialist, It's understandable its messing with your mind a fair bit, try and stay positive and not to think about it to much. Worrying about it isn't going to change things. You will deal with it when you know more about it. Eat healthy and sleep as best you can.. i know sleep is diffucult for you, but, get in as much as possible. 🙂

Take some time out and look after yourself. If its reasonable weather maybe just sit outside for a few minutes or go for a slow walk and try and clear your head. Just a few thoughts for you. Take care

Re: rough time

it is hard and it sucks 😞 @CheerBear
yeah theres a lot of what ifs, the waiting, some things out of my control or having to sit on my hands until the steps before are done. it just feels like a lot to do but even with a list that im checking off and can visually see that I am doing things it still doesn't really feel like im doing much-not sure if that makes sense though.

I don't really know whatll help, I already went for a walk as well to try and get out and get in abit of fresh air but I didn't get very far even that seemed like to much. and I tried crochet but had the same effect. I have to go to the horses soon to give back some of my clients things

Re: rough time

Hi @outlander I'm here. Just got back from the movies, which was my attempt to silence my mind for a while.

So much going on in your life. Playing the waiting game is hard, lots of deep breathing, warm teas, and walks outside. Please be kind to yourself during this time. I'm here to chat if you need me

With waves to @Gazza75 @CheerBear 👋🌺🌸🌺🌸

Re: rough time

Wish I had more to give than an "I hear you" @outlander. You're so well practiced at getting through times like this and you're trying things to make it easier. It's tiring and hard when those things don't seem to help.

I've gotta run and pick up a Middle. @Gazza75 is still around I think 👋❤

Hope the horses go OK today. It might help to get out and focus on that one task. One thing at a time maybe.

Mega hugs ❤

Re: rough time

thanks @Gazza75
I think I give the definition of 'worry wort' a whole new meaning. I always worry about others expectations, ive had to deal with the consequences if I didn't/don't so it makes it harder and then pressurised myself more to keep those high expectations of myself too.

I don't really find helplines all that useful, they generally just tell me to use my coping strategies that I already have so I have to pick my times to contact them. silly hey.

I checked in with my loan manager this morning and the company im going through needed abit more paperwork done which ive already done and sent back in to her. hopefully I will here back from them in the next few days at the very least so that if its not approved I can try somewhere else and if it is approved I can get a few things sorted out and wont have to stress about finances as much. the 2 major things will be paid for and the rest I can use the saving I already have to finish the rest off.

I see the specialist in 2 weeks for the results etc but have my nurse before then. shes usually ok with these things though not lately, have more been getting shoved out the door quickly.

everything just feels so very messy , more so today
