No hun, quite dissapointed. 2 pulled out with messages after event started. Only 3 came besides myself. Others just didn't show or RSVP no. Sometimes I wonder if I have the capacity to keep volunteering like this as I take the no shows quite personally. I like it when I get a good turn out. But the women who came were very nice people & it was easy conversation.

Oh thats dissapointing @Sans911 i was hoping they would all turn up. At least 3 did show up and they were nice.

Me too @outlander. Just two regular people for the walk.
Jasper goes back to the vet tommorow morning. He's improving a little each day. Today he meowed a little, his appetite is better and he's starting to groom himself again.
I found out today that my operation date is 2nd September. That's good in a way because it gives me a month to do my assignment, and lots of time to plan replacements for my volunteer events

Im glad Jaspers improving a little each day sis @Sans911 i bet your a little better too seeing him improve abit too.
Any news on what mightve caused the blockage though to hopefully prevent it?
Im glad youve got abit of time till your surgury so you can arrange everything. I know having to organise things can be quite stressful in itself. Its only really a month away though and may go rather quickly.

I'm sorry things are so tough right now for you. Just remember to give yourself a pat on the back every now and then for everything you are doing. It takes a lot of grit and courage to persevere like you are. You are such a kind and caring soul.
Your family and friends should be super proud of you. It's important that you take care of yourself. Try and remember that bit. Wish I could do more to help. Feel free to tag me in any time if you need someone to listen or sit with you. I'm around most days, not so much at night.

@Sans911 sounds like Jasper has turned the corner - you must be relieved. And at least having a date for you surgery now means you can organise things.
