Hello Claire
@outlander 🙂
I hope your appointment went well & the Doctor was able to help {especially with the sleep, without which I think everything gets worse}, so that when you get back home you can rest & relax . . . & I'll give you complete access to any 'Nanny nap' rights I have {& with 5 grandbabies I should have quite a few! :D}, as I can't use them because they don't suit my sleep pattern 😉
Thinking of you Claire![]()
Nanny Niqua 😉

Those dreams and there reoccuring like this are a sign you haven't dealt with the real eventr and your guilt - which is real though unnecessary - is something you need to deal with - and you need a therapist
The stuff that happened between me and my sister is something my new therapist is wanting to know more about and is taking me very seriously - the last two - no - they thought that was something I could let go
So even at my advanced years I still had to find the other two therapists and they both moved interstate so this lady was more than just a lucky find
So you have a choice - the nightmares or talking about with with the right person and the right person might be hard to find - so - that's enough for now
About the doctor throwing more tablets down your throat - ah - I think you should question this and I know this is not easy either but I do it - I did it on Monday and I will do it every time I am questioned about this and it is so frustrating to be misunderstood but if you have an ulcer already - some of those medications can really make that worse for you
You are making progress but those dreams will catch you when you least expect them so I can tell you what a psychiatrist when I was having bad repititive nightmares - sorta like that -and he suggested I write a different ending to the dream
It took time but eventually I reached a stage when I was aware I was having this dream and woke myself up before the ending - now - rarely - I might start with a memory or a daydream and I remember the ending I wrote
So - try this yourself - you do a lot for yourself - rewrite the dog nightmare and the horse nightmares and those were real events - I know - and write that - well whatever - that your sisters are okay and thriving - and I really hope this will work for you as well as it did for me
I'm so sorry you have to go through all of this - guilt is a terrible emotion to experience to have and after my son died I was told this "The more guilt I experienced the more it said I had done all I could and had no need to feel that way - and the less people feel possibly means the more they were in some way responsible"
I was interrupted by a phone call which was a wrong number in the middle of this - doncha just hate it when that happens - but about your medication
It's important to talk about this with your doctor and I know it's hard but you can do it - reading your posts tells me how well you are doing and I wish you the best with that too

@Former-Membersorry to hear you night wasn't a good one. Yes all we can do is keep going but does not help when we are sleep deprived. Hope you can get some rest today.
Super big hugs ![]()
