Good morning @outlander 💜💜
Wanted you to know I read your posts last night about what your Mum said to you. I agree wholeheartedly with @Sans911 in that what your Mum said to you says a whole lot more about her than it does about you. I'm disappointed that she could be so insensitive and seemingly bitter about it. I would be extremely hurt if someone said that to me, so I understand your confusion over it. As for keeping friends ... it isnt easy for anybody, but even more difficult for someone in your situation where you have caring responsibilities for most of your extended and close family. If your Mum genuinely thought you could not keep friends, she should give some consideration to freeing up some of your time perhaps. Sorry ... just my little rant. It makes me angry that your own Mum could be so needlessly cruel and seeming desire to hurt. Many of us have few, if any, people we could call friends. Often that is by choice. I know its easy to say, but please do not take your mothers hurtful words to heart. Clearly they were designed to cut to the quick ... for some reason likely only known to herself.
I hope that made sense? My thinking is a little all over the place the past few days. Feeling kind of rattled. One of the reasons I havent been posting much. I am reading and listening though. And sending you warm wishes and a hug if you would like one.

Yes @outlander I'm sure you would be a little anxious about your Pop returning today. At least you have both had a chance to take some time out for the past few days, which can only be a good thing. But if things get out of hand or too much for you @outlander , dont hesitate to arrange to take him to see his GP and try to get further help asap. Your GP will guide you on what can be done and how to go about it, when it comes to providing the professional care your Pop may need from now on. And if not right now, likely in the very near future.
At the very least, I hope his absence from home over the weekend will make him realise what a great job you do in caring for him. He will surely have a greater appreciation of all that you do for him on a daily basis. I hope thats the case at any rate.
Sherry 💜

Yes @outlander ... you did reply. At 5.13pm, and absolutely nothing in it that would be a problem. No idea of where its gone, or why❓
