Re: Yucky pucky water!

@Bunniekins-the medication I was on is not suitable for me due to my SI/SH risks. The new one is supposed to be a mood stabiliser with a slightly sedating effect but I find it actually doesn't do anything.

@Sans911 That's no good. I When are you next seeing your psychiatrist?

Re: Yucky pucky water!

@Bunniekins - in 2 weeks time. She's attached to my local community mh hospital. Not my choice of pdoc, just who I got assigned. I barely spend 10-15mins there. It's just a check in and med check really. Nothing else.

Re: Yucky pucky water!

@Sans911 when I was still attached to my mh hospital I had the most mediocre pdoc ,,, I was pleased to see the back of him. He was no help at all. That is when my first great pdoc came along then he retired then /Dr G came and thank God for that otherwise I would still be very sick.

I am thinking of doing Light N Easy. Has anyone tried that before? That's where the meals are delivered and you don't eat anything else. It will be hard because the rest of the family like soft drinks, juice, lollies, chocolate etc. I've got to get my pre-meds body back when I was fit and trim.

Re: Yucky pucky water!

@Queenie-I was on Lite and Easy for a long time & it stopped me snacking. You actually get sweet things like biscuits, muffins, trail food with small pieces of chocolate. I was doing the 5;2 as well. So I used to order 5 lunches & dinner, because could do my own breakfast, and then I had 2days left as my fast days. I only stopped because I can't afford it; it's actually good value for money. I liked most of the food. And I sometimes mixed the days around. It didn't make any difference. I lost a lot of weight, but have put half of it back on. Hardly anything fits anymore. I also make a nice jug of water with a splash of ginger cordial, mint leaves, strawberries & lemon. It's very nice.

Re: Yucky pucky water!

I'm glad it worked for you @Sans911. I am seriously considering it. I'll do the lunches and dinner, as I can do my own breakfast fairly well. I need to lose about 50kg and exercise alone isn't doing much. I can flog myself at the gym come home and not eat right. When I was at respite a month ago, I ate nothing but healthy whole foods. I was only there for 6 days but I lost almost 5kg! My GP was astounded!
