some of the system was just crap i got moved so often, countless times, some of the people "caring" for me were not far off being as bad as my parents @Owlunar

But there is also one wonderful couple who perseriverdd with me more than anyone ever has and this year I got back in contact with them and they have treated me like Im their own @Owlunar
And guess what? Im slowly breaking the cycle my family is in, I'm the first one in my family to have a job

That is something to be really proud of @Former-Member - just having a job is good but being the first in your family - you can be the one to break the mold - you can do better than them
You were moved around a lot in the foster care system - my son was too - and eventually I had to find somewhere for him and I think most people tried - but the stories are hard stories - and you had some really tough families but then other's that really cared
There is good and bad in all systems - I think you have had a serve of both and I am glad you had some good carers but so sorry you had bad ones - maybe you already see that it all comes down too ourselves in the end - and it can be really hard work but it's worth it

I understand my behaviour was not always best I was angry, I would try and run away, all that stuff so I was hard work but I'm thankful for the couple that did tried so hard with me, but they didn't look after me for very long I must of been really hard work @Owlunar

So this time of year is tough its a time for being with family so its so hard
