My interpretation of Christ and Buddha lean towards their inclusion and sense of Compassion for ALL living beings regardless of race, country of origin or gender or disability status, and now even species! Lol I was such an old greenie and leftie.

Grateful for my nephews who know the mantras or prayers ... of the Roman Catholic Rosary and the other of Soto Zen. Yes a multicultural society can be difficult and so many of us are a mix. Yes, it is work to be able to reflect and find compassion and understanding for the diverse range of human souls we meet. I am glad I was aware of wisdom in a range of traditions and dont want to target any one.

On the weekend on the train I could speak Italian to one lady, and uttered a word in Chinese that the couple in our cosy train compartment really appreciated, with their "no speak english".

We also seem to forget the issues of class with all the emphasis on race in this multicultural society. So I am glad of Jesus and his Sermon on the Mount....

@Lozenge I appreciate your beliefs on multiculturalism. You only ever hear the benefits but not how it can affect individuals.

It feels as though you're meant to feel grateful for the new country that embraced you but they don't tell you about the bad stuff.

One of my early Christian friends was half Chinese. She too was born here but her dad was from China. She was constantly held to a different standard than our Aussie friends because of the Chinese traditions her father wanted her to follow.

Thank you for sharing, you mention past trauma so it's not surprising you feel European men are untrustworthy.

Cept my father died at 45 and brother died at 33, partly due to cultural misunderstanding. To put it politely. It has taken decades for my brother's children to recover and reconnect with their own flesh and blood relatives. Me I am scarred for life, as they are probably are. We all need to be aware of what our privlege is. My half Asian nephew, is reassessing the cultural assumptions of one side of his family (who were extremely privileged and ambitious) as he currently comes to terms with his Cauacasian side.

For me, I loved my migrant side, but their responsibility for me was not very good. I hold the responsibility of being the oldest Australian born in my family to still be alive. Too many died young.

So once again. I say beware of targeting any one group. I am female, but ...

i reckon there is really one goal left over after God shared out His love to us, and that is share out His love to us.

i have been struggling badly with nausea today, yet when i laid down feeling unwell i ended up badly triggered instead of asleep.

I Hate Evil Good!

Hateful feelings burning my life to waste.

Pronouncing evil judgements with deadly haste.

Fuelling fires lighting heart and mind a blaze.

Wrongful words incinerating my every gaze.

Disrespectfully tearing all God's good down.

Very happily befriending wrongdoers and sin.

hate and evil can also have a hell of a time.

How dear Family how are things going for you Down Here? This week has seen a marked improvement sleep, anxiety and depression wise. i upped my night time medications and this sure has stabilised me a lot the last 5 days or so. i have had up to 7 hours sleep and often a little snooze during the day. A little low in my mood but otherwise things have sure been much better.

Ancient Garments.

Faith can quickly become the driest ink of pen,

God’s living truths half-grasped by fallen men.

Still dressing believers in clothes centuries-old ,

stitch their naked fear and plight into a static mould.

Forgetting Christ before the world was stripped bare

naked hung in love’s revealing light true life to share.

For our Lord Jesus is not truth dressed in our history,

nor must He be buried underneath religious tyranny.

Christ's truth is God’s fierce love descending from On high

from every untruth where death and darkness hide the lie

i have been denied the medications they know i need for fear of legal action in case it goes wrong. Even though i got decades of evidence this is not true. i'm done. i will go back on psych meds.

i will have no idea how i will survive! the last time all i wanted to do was die and then i stayed around because of my wife, now she is the reason i go rather than stay. Frustrated we live in a society which sacrifices us their hypocrisy and our honesty is punished.

Been pondering how best to get home from here. i cannot even voice my needs or protest. This is a clear example that they give us no options. They know what was lied about from from day one but still make it law completely contradicting God's word about that. Of course they follow the Beast in charge of the unholy system, never obedience to God's word/The truth. Why would that not surprise me? Because i know the One they nailed on a cross their lies ruling and He warned me it would be so.

@DownMoreThanUp I am glad you are stable and getting a bit more sleep. Sorry the med situation is complex. Pity we cant unpack it on here, but I guess we research elsewhere.

I have been struggling myself. I seem to be going through a soul transition feeling process, but I am not sure what it means.
