Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

🥹 I'm sad that you don't feel you have a place in the world. I have a magnet on my fridge that says, 'Don't believe everything you think'. You have a place in my world @ENKELI and that's important to me!! I don't have a 'big world' around me (more small-town community). The whole world is just too big for me! It's too overwhelming! Too much going on!

What's the public holiday for? Have you got any plans for it?

Much love Enkeli xoxo 💜

i asked my wife to get me some antihistamine tablets that make you sleepy and took one along with my sleepers. i got 6 hours solid sleep and another 3 hours snoozing if not sleeping in my chair it was wonderful and so peaceful!

i went for a walk in the Estuary. On the way there had to folllow a narrow limestone track. And there i encountered a heap of sand blown on the road, but foolishly thought i should have no trouble get through it. However i got bogged!

i tried for a bout 5 minutes to get the car out. (i do have lots of experiences from my youth bush bashing and getting cars out of a bogs.) However no matter how much i tired i could not move the car. Worse the car was only a few mm above the sand.

i knew if the car would floor on the sand i be stuck there until someone would come past. Which could be hours or the next day. i had no wallet or phone on me either. So i sat down and i asked Jesus to please show me how to unstuck.

No sooner did i ask and He told me to do the opposite of what i had been doing. And then talked me right through the time 20-30 seconds it took to get the car to safety. An amazing experience which left me marveling His nearness and support in real life. i worshiped Him there at the water edge.

It truly was a Sunny Sunday morning for me.😍

i'm going to make a playlist for the car's stereo and then i will see what else i feel like doing.

Have a blessed Today.

(i did not let the flowers die but boy does hit the nail on the head. Mentally ill and all. She was good at it.)

Hi @heartathome , @DownMoreThanUp , @Appleblossom , @ENKELI , @tyme , @MissGremlin , @AlwaysMyself , @Shaz51 , @REDLINEZ750 ,

Acts 24

- Five days later the Chief Priests and elders arrive to testify against Paul.

- Their accusation: Paul is a troublemaker, stirring up Jews all over the world. He is a leader of a group called Nazarenes.

- Paul speaks:

  • I arrived in Jerusalem twelve days ago.
  • I wasn't arguing with anyone.
  • I worship God according to the Way which they call a sect.
  • I always strive to have a clear conscience toward God and men.
  • Jews from Ephesus found me in the Temple - they should be here if they have charges.
  • But I did say, "Today I am on trial before you concerning the resurrection of the dead." [to divide the crowd].

- Governor Felix decides to wait for Lysias the commander.

- Paul is under guard but with freedom and his friends are allowed to meet his needs.

- Paul speaks to Felix and his Jewish wife Drusilla:

  • faith in Christ Jesus
  • righteousness
  • self-control
  • judgement to come.

- Felix speaks to Paul quite often hoping that Paul would give him money.

- Two years later Paul is passed to the new Governor Porcius Festus.

Paul's ministry is now from prison. The letters in the New Testament show that he did not allow being in prison stop him proclaiming Jesus.

Hi @DownMoreThanUp ,

Thanks for sharing how God helped you to unbog the car. Moments like that are very powerful. Our God is truly alive and with us at all times.

Re: Christian Chat

Hi @ENKELI ,

Well done on being so dedicated to God. Your life is exemplary.

When I was working full time I would use the time on the bus as prayer time. It was very effective.

But I'm a bit annoyed with God. When I was working full time I led an effective life for God - I would wake very early to read the Bible, have a great prayer time on the bus, serve people in my people-focused job, read on the way home, change, dinner, news, bed. I would catch a 6:15am bus and get home around 5:45pm. On my Saturdays I would spend more time in God's Word. On Sunday I would be at church and make time for Mum. I don't really understand why He has allowed a mental health medical condition to reopen that requires medication that causes a lethargy that stops me from working. I'm not sure that I am fully talking to Him.

I don't know why with more time I am not disciplined with prayer. I am disciplined with reading the Bible but not prayer.

i find the tiredness and exhaustion the worst part of coping the last 20 days or so. i'm cycling very fast through my moods so only calming meds will work now i try to keep the uplifting away as much as possible but at times i'm so down i look cross eyed. Then i thank Jesus for cycling fast

Mixed episode they call this, living hell i call it.

Although more and more, as i let my painful life die the moments along side Jesus i the pain is lessening and becoming more manageable. My wife coming around yesterday was really good but also really painful, seeing her daringly say i'm there as well, as in i hid myself from you sick but i can do now no longer, and then quickly hide away again. It hurt me so much seeing her have to do that. Remembering the woman i married but lost along the way me going psychotic on her all the time.

Albeit it hurt me heaps to see how hurt she truly is, it also encourages me Jesus will fix what neither of us can do.The biggest pain for me was seeing those spirits laughing even as my family were listening to them. Surely they know i had no troubles with them otherwise? i never did? Surely they knew that? However that is not how they experienced me a psychotic man. And in those places they have been hurt, they are deaf to me crying my pain all these years. Seeing them run away and never come back, although the person did, while i love them, and i know the wrongs hurting them so deeply, as they have done me, never does. We should have had counseling as a family right fro the start. But such was not done 30 years ago, at least some thing are changing for good.

It is my wife's birthday in 20 days time so we arranged going out for the day but she did not want present for she knows i do not care about such things. Which is true i do not care about birthday presents much when people do not mean the present but do it because of they feel they have to, i love present from those who love and care about me. She knows that as well!

So yes it has been a bit of a roller coaster to see how much broken self my wife has hidden from me over the last 43 years of marriage. Yet i have also been thanking Jesus that He is making me aware and is healing me at the same time so i can make up to the woman i love most.

i have been planning with Jesus, for i know what she likes better than anyone, and Jesus is so good at helping me think of things to do, to assure good things come her way without me having to be pushy, a show off/fake or demanding she love me again, about it.

Like courting all over again.

@heartathome it's for Labour Day. Bestie and I cancelled plans to go to Funnings as she is not well so I decided to catch up on my studies and the same tomorrow.

I am feeling very blah today which annoys me as the weather is perfect for being out in the garden.

I like your magnet, it's a good reminder. I think I'm frustrated that whatever God has planned for me He hasn't revealed to me.

Thank you for your sweet words, it means a lot ❤️
