Christian Chat

Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

Hi @DownMoreThanUp ,

I have first hand experience with anti-psychotics. I understand the multitude of side effects that come with them. They take away from feeling human. And they are a downer. Do you also feel lethargy from them?

You seem to have so much freedom with your medication?

The moment you're in is so huge! Everything needs to be reshaped. Somehow sleep needs to return. Somehow Jesus or another person has to become a go to person.

You're in my thoughts and prayers. Along with your beautiful wife and each person who can make a difference at this time.

Re: Christian Chat

@Realness @DownMoreThanUp I have been on anti-psychotics for 10 years or so and from what you both are saying they aren't the be all and end all.

For me they have been a life saver. I no longer have manic periods - being bipolar 2 the manic periods were never as extreme as bipolar 1 - and I no longer have the urge to self harm and generally I get better sleep.

I haven't slept well since Friday and aside from diabetic fatigue I also have mental fatigue. I think the most frustrating thing is that I am not allowed to discuss it on a forum that is supposed to support mental health wellbeing!

Sorry, I have brain fuzz and keep going off track.

@DownMoreThanUp I have been praying for you especially. My garden has been my refuge and I have to be mindful of not overwatering so now I am planning a mini garden renovation. Today however is the writing lists type of day as it is heading toward 38. A perfect day for window shopping on the Funnings website!

Much love and prayers xoxo

Isaiah 55:8 NIV
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord

Paul's letters might not have existed if Paul was free to travel! So true. I hadn't thought about it before @Realness

Thanks for sharing! 💜

Hi @ENKELI ,

Thanks for sharing your first hand experience of anti-psychotics.

I guess, if I could make friends with the side effects, they are a life saver for me also. Without them I would be experiencing psychosis.

Re: Christian Chat

@Realness @ENKELI i found stability when stable on the meds i have been using but when i am emotional to stressed they still fail

i think the main reason they failed this time is me taking meds only when needed, not taking enough, and stop taking when in crisis.\ without my wife help me manage.

This time again i cut right back when failing because i often make silly decision not coping, bad nausea attacks do not help this along.

While now i'nm on psych meds instead nevertheless they will drive me down in my mood while i already struggle coping.

Life has not been much fun lately.

Re: Christian Chat

@DownMoreThanUp no, you're so right. Life definitely has not been much fun of late.

Re: Christian Chat

@Realness yeah, aside from tiredness I was fine until certain things happened that shouldn't have.

I really like the people I engage with on a regular basis here in forum land but I don't know if I could cope with another issue so I am considering leaving.

I am emotionally vulnerable at the moment and feeling like no one would really care so I will wait until my med levels are back to normal and I've spoken with my psych before making any decisions.

The Christian chat thread particularly I would miss.

Re: Christian Chat

@ENKELI Sorry to hear life is still bad fro you as well. Sucks. Big time

@Realness @heartathome @Appleblossom @tyme

i need sleep. This is my big issue at the moment i cannot get any hours sleep, even with sleepers, and haven't for days. This is also why i began my anti-psychotics again to see if that would help. However it is more of a clarity rather than voices or hallucinations, that keeps me awake, i've had hardly any of those even while psychotic.

Doing a lot of praying and meditating on the situation. Trauma and (in particular parental,) Rejection is at the bottom of it for me. i can easily see that.

Re: Christian Chat

@DownMoreThanUp I know the sting of rejection brother and have only recently been delivered from it.

The hurt and pain I have now is different and caused by people who should know better.

I am emotionally and physically exhausted and if I was able to tell the whole story it would help me get it out but I can't because I'd probably be banned from the forums again.
I wish I was free to speak. I don't know how to put a trigger warning in.

Jesus feels like He's a million miles away from me and I feel like He is ashamed of my trying to see Him before my time.

I am lucky I have my brother living with me and my faith is the size of a mustard seed.

I can easily pray for others and have been doing so, I just don't see where I deserve prayers after what I tried to do.

I hope you get some sleep soon my dear brother. I am physically and mentally fatigued so I understand how you must feel, being tired is no picnic that's for sure.

I lift you up in prayer, that each day shows an improvement over the previous one.

Much love and hugs, and God's richest blessings upon you.
