Acts 19

- Paul travels to Ephesus.

- Paul finds about twelve disciples who had only received John's baptism. They are baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus. Paul lays his hands on them to receive the Holy Spirit.

- Paul speaks boldly in the synagogue for three months.

- When opposition arises Paul teaches in the lecture hall of Tyrannus for two years.

- All the residents of Asia, both Jews and Greeks, heard the word of the Lord.

- God was performing extraordinary miracles by the hands of Paul. Handkerchiefs Paul touched were taken to the sick and they would heal them.

- Some Jewish exorcists start saying to evil spirits, "I command you by the Jesus that Paul preaches."

- Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish high priest, were doing this. Evil spirit turns and attacks them.

- This became known to everyone who lived in Ephesus - people became afraid - the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high esteem.

- Many believers who had previously practised magic burn their books.

- In this way the word of the Lord flourished and prevailed.

- Paul starts getting ready to go to Macedonia and Achaia, and then Jerusalem and Rome.

- Demetrius, a silversmith who made silver shrines of Artemis, gathers a mob. He thinks that because of the success of Paul's teaching their trade is at risk. The riot is calmed by the town clerk.

Paul's time at Ephesus is hugely successful. All the residents heard the word of the Lord.

How wonderful to have the freedom of a car. Did you make it to church? How did it go?

How was your sleep? I prayed specifically that God would grant you sleep. I hope the prayer was answered.

i have been praying a lot and getting used to doing the chores i otherwise did not have to do.

i have died my past life. And keep dying it. Also i have given The Lord command of my mind. No more self talk. All talk coming out of nowhere is silenced. Trying to learn to only Heed The Voice of The Lord.Unbelievable how much my mind has calmed down doing that.

Also my vision has changed at lot. i used to see all kind of spiritual moments now each time i love i see the eyes of my wife as well as Jesus if i focus on Him.

It is the letting go that is the hardest.

Feeling very sad.

i try to focus on Jesus but keep drifting off to my wife. Yet i know only Jesus can get us back together again.

Now see if we can rebuild our relationship or if separation is going to be the way of the future for us two. i sincerely hope we can fix it. i love that women to bits.

A lot of nausea and welling sadness today. Hard day. Missing my dear wife so very much. In our 43 years marriage we have not been this long apart, and i really grew stuck to her the last 4-5 years in particular.😥

i think have such excellent support for so many years does not help me processing information. Now i can see i have to process input

Today's ministry during the service was on Gideon (Judges 7). The LORD doesn't need large numbers. He works with few because only then can we see God's victory @DownMoreThanUp @Realness @REDLINEZ750 @Appleblossom @heartathome

Tough days. I wish I had words that could ease the pain but I know there are none.

How well you both have done to make it so long not being apart like this before. God's miracle considering the challenges you have had to face together.

Bad day today, so much nausea, and then the sadness, its been difficult. i think i have been off with the fairies for a day or three. No sleep that makes it so much heavier.

The Church service really knocked me around as well. The preacher had a particular high pitch voice.

Still praying a lot. i find that the most helpful. Counseling tomorrow.
