I'm feeling anxious and am having emotional moments but am trying not to think of the worst-case scenario. I'm blessed to have a couple of good friends that are supporting me. Being on here is where I get a lot of my support too.

I'm thinking and praying for you and your sister. When do you get the results you're waiting for?

I usually pray that God's Will be done in these situations but have been praying for a recovery for your sister.

We have just been through the same thing with my sister. For the last six or so months there have been operations and then radiation. A six month journey but she has fully recovered. Just preventative measures now.

But you know all that's involved. You have been here before.

May God hold you close and help you with the anxiety and emotions that come with this journey.

I'm not sure either @ENKELI 🙂 That makes two fuzzy brains! I think you did post to me yesterday, but the support button wasn't working. Normally I'd reply with a GIF when that happens but yesterday, I was feeling too overwhelmed to find one.

Thank you for praying for my sister! I'm praying for Gods will as well! There can't be a better prayer than that when words fail me! 🙏

I know you've been struggling too. How are you doing so far today? I'm at home listening to music at the moment. About to make another coffee. We've got three days of rain now and the temperature dropped from 37 degrees yesterday to 23 today! 💜

I'm glad your sister has fully recovered from the cancer! I think the waiting for results is the hard part. Some CAT scans are the next thing to see if it's anywhere else, but I don't know when. I don't remember cancer being so prevalent when I was growing up. Maybe it was and we just didn't know about it back then. I personally think there is more of it around these days.

Did you get to do any of the opening or closing questions for the unit yesterday afternoon/ night? Do you get an AI (like ChatGPT) to help you with your studies?

I'm doing pretty well, considering. I haven't fallen apart yet and am trying to distract myself while we wait for further tests. I do get out of my unit and go for a coffee each day as @ENKELI encouraged me to do. It does help! We've got rain for the next three days, so a walk probably won't happen. Having music is so therapeutic! It keeps my brain distracted and works most of the time. Still listening to a lot of Fleetwood Mac! 🙂

I agree. Cancer seems to be everywhere these days. Exaggeration but you know what I mean. I wonder if it is because the treatments are better so more people are surviving but it comes back.

I haven't done the opening and closing questions yet. I'm thinking I will do them all at the end. Just before the exam preparation. I don't use AI to help.

Good to hear you're doing pretty well despite the waiting. Your daily coffee sounds nice. Music is absolutely therapeutic!
