I would love some thunderstorms right about now. We have 38 in the 'Vegas today. Fortunately it's dropping by 10 degrees tomorrow and for the rest of the week. Thank You Lord!

@ENKELI i hear you loud and clear when you comment as you do in the frog thread.

Nevertheless in my books the good religious people you talk about are NOT religious people but people who Walk the Way. (i love them too. Such believers are the TRUE CHURCH - our Lord walking in our bodies blessing all those they meet God's love and truth in this world!)

People who heed the Voice of their Master with integrity. i call such believers people of faith therefore not religious, and i know they will always care for the hurting and oppressed ones brought on their path.

This is because the book tells us that true religion is to care for the fatherless and the widows and not to be like the world, deceiving, captivating, and exploiting those they are able, while those excluding, oppressing and locking up those who do not fit their bill.

This is why so many people do not adhere to the Christian religion, and i struggled so much myself, torn up within by it, for they present themselves as religious people, not people of faith. While any true believer will be caring, forgiving, merciful, accepting, long suffering and supportive people. i know LOTS of believers who love true like that. It are these believers that have kept me in Church, for i love them, and the courage and integrity the most. And i love to win the Church AWAY from religiosity and be filled with people of faith walking the the Spirit of love and truth.

While Today most of such believers are commonly named religious people, they do themselves as well, yet the proper name we should carry is People of The Way, or The Gathered, and never slurred the name of those led astray believing the traditions of their forefathers and the explanations they have of themselves and their faith as religious people carry one name. Like Baptist, Reformed, Roman Catholic, Pentecostal, or whatever other 40,000 + Christian denominations, and therefore have the world brand us religious to blot out the Walk of those who walk in faith, love and hope through life.

Sadly this what the word religion has become to mean in most people's minds - religious people are often fanatical people who unreasonably believe in 'supernatural' - that is unprovable - things, that cannot be understood or make sense to those who believe otherwise.

My wife loves this lady and has been listening to her on facebook, and i like very much what she is saying in this message to us believers.

Re: Christian Chat

@DownMoreThanUp I appreciate your opinion but disagree.

Right now I am in a very fragile state so can't enter into conversation about what I believe. I am emotionally exhausted and frankly wish I could go to sleep and never wake up.
I am safe and don't need recommendations to contact Lifeline or Griefline or verses telling me God loves me even when He lets me suffer.

My Meditation on Matthew 9:32-33 this morning in poetry.

"As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a man, mute and demon-possessed. And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying, “It was never seen like this in Israel!”"

To Those Suffering The Mute!

The Mute drowns out The Voice of Love.
The Mute turns anxiety, to fear, then terror.
The Mute screams to death the lonely.
The Mute unleashes demons in the mind.
The Mute deprives life snuffing out life.
The Mute ever works more mute into life.
The Mute cultivates keeping distance.
The Mute ignores the sores it causes.
The Mute will never say thank you or please.
The Mute doesn't appreciate our silence but our life
The Mute speaks rejection without words.
The Mute breeds much distrust not saying.
The Mute feeds the lonely more hungry times.
The Mute never says i love you for who you are.
The Mute denies forgiveness to speak.
The Mute leaves the desolate to rot without words.
The Mute ensures pain to multiply it sits on.
The Mute speaks no evil to hurt like hell.
The Mute offers no comfort but grief.
The Mute silences good each word not spoken.
The Mute does not commend but silence.
The Mute speeches never lift us up.
The Mute doesn't encourage conversation.
The Mute BRINGS BAD LIFE saying nothing!
The Mute never comes around for a talk.
The Mute fries hot every accusation.
The Mute offers no words but 'be silent.'
The Mute never comforts a kind word.
The Mute dictates - do not speak!
The Mute never agrees with anyone.
The Mute compliments no ones efforts.
The Mute always backs up what's bad silently.
The Mute rips open deepest wounds wordlessly.
The Mute silences any kind of togetherness.
The Mute does not acknowledge the pain we suffer.
The Mute turns its back on who it has muted.
The Mute hides our trauma where it hurts most
The Mute needs a willing ear to speak control.
The Mute befriends lame, deaf, maybe blind too.
The Mute will not offer any words of comfort.
The Mute screams our loudest pain not a whisper.
The Mute can't speak out loud what it always says.
The Mute talking makes it unsafe to talk.
The Mute always reproaches without words.
The Mute buries togetherness in silence.
The Mute says its wrong to say anything.
The Mute talks emptiness into being
The Mute always talks us lonely labeling.
The Mute talks us into so much more misery
************

Deliverance From The Mute!
To remove our inability
speaking terror away,
we best place our Faith
in The Truth of Jesus.
For the truth of love will
deactivate trauma's
hold on us.

Enabled the truth to speak
even to ourselves in hiding
we see our Deliverance
from the power of The Mute.
For a speaking 'mute'
is NO longer Mute!
And then we shall all
marvel, rejoice and celebrate
hearing what we all hear
the ex Mute to us now say!
For all cruelly silenced within,
is now spoken up right again.

Hi @heartathome , @DownMoreThanUp , @Appleblossom , @ENKELI , @tyme , @MissGremlin , @REDLINEZ750 , @AlwaysMyself ,

Acts 9

- Saul still attacking the Lord's followers.

- Saul gets a letter from the high priest to arrest any followers of the Lord's Way in Damascus.

- Nearing Damascus Saul sees a bright light and hears a voice. "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? . . . I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting."

- Saul is blind and has to be led into Damascus.

- Saul fasts and prays for three days.

- The Lord talks to Ananias with directions to go to Saul.

- Ananias questions the Lord about Saul's reputation.

- The Lord replies: "Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. I will show him him how much he must suffer for my name."

- Ananias, fulfilling both instructions he had received from the Lord and a vision seen by Saul, places his hands on Saul to return his sight.

- Scales fall from Saul's eyes. He can see. Gets up and is baptised.

- Saul proclaims Jesus in the Damascus synagogues.

- After many days Jews plot against Saul.

- Saul let down the wall in a basket to escape Damascus.

- Saul goes to Jerusalem.

- Believers afraid of Saul.

- Barnabas bridges the way for Saul to be accepted by the believers.

- Hellenistic Jews plot against Saul.

- Believers send Saul to Tarsus.

- Church has a time of peace. Increases in numbers.

- Peter going from place to place comes to Lydda.

- Peter heals Aeneas who had been paralysed for eight years.

- People see Aeneas walking around and turn to the Lord.

- Peter raises Dorcas in Joppa.

- Dorcas alive again becomes known throughout Joppa and many believe in the Lord.

The calling of Saul (also known as Paul). "God's chosen vessel." The writer of many of the letters in the New Testament. History would be quite different if God hadn't called Saul in this way.

Thanks @Realness My support button is on the blink at the moment.

I love hearing about Saul's conversion. How powerful is that! I can imagine how scared Ananias would have been of him, but he obeyed God anyway. I think that's pretty cool.

We studied Paul's letter to the Romans 1: 18 - 32 at bible study today. I found it deep and confronting. 💜
