Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

Re: Christian Chat

I did see a long-lasting marriage, 🌺 @Realness and it was a beautiful co-dependent relationship They were so close that they passed away a week apart from each other (I think of a broken heart.) I may have mentioned that before. Sorry if I have. My younger childhood was great in a small country town out west. We were very poor but mostly happy. Well, as much as six kids can get along! 😀 Normal sibling 'fighting'.

while he stayed at home writing Surely, he wasn't serious! It sounds like he was caught up in himself and his own wants in an ideal world. I'm blessed to have a partner that treats me like a princess, but like me, he's on a pension so there's no spare money around. I remember praying for a husband who could take me out to eat each night or a cook. I got the cook. He's not a chef but loves cooking, which was just as good to me! I hate it and have no motivation to learn. We're not married and he's not the father of my son. Different decade.

Oh dear, I fought for woman rights in the 70's. 😂 I know a couple of people who swapped roles when their kids were born. It worked for them... until their divorce. Seriously though, I think if it works for both couples, then good for them. I would prefer the man to make the money (as a sole parent, I had no choice but to work as well as spend time with him) but I think a lot of families (especially with kids) now need both parties working just to survive. I think it's very complicated these days! I appreciate your honesty and respect your opinion!

I use to give gifts I was sort of giving people a debt I had a friend who gave me a present for my birthday. I was thrilled. When her birthday came around, I bought her a coffee. Six months later, after an argument, she brought that up, that she'd given me something and I bought her nothing. What she didn't realise was that was all I had! $5 We didn't talk much after that which was a shame. My sister used to always buy presents for me. I think it was her way of saying sorry for missing so much of my life (she went off the rails and into a her*** addiction for a lot of years)

I feel like I've made a friend too Realness! I feel very blessed 🤗💚

The poem is very moving @DownMoreThanUp . I can relate to the down, darkness and pressing of depression. 💜

Re: Christian Chat

I meant the depression I had in the past @DownMoreThanUp I had 3 years of it so I could relate. I am on meds for the depression though, so I've been okay for a while now. 💜

@heartathome Great to hear you are not suffering.... Psych meds never worked for me, i'm glad they do for you.🤗

@heartathome @Realness @Appleblossom @MissGremlin @ENKELI @RiverSeal

i've been a little triggered and struggling with my emotions but staying in charge so far. Cried from joy before, then from grief, a little all over the place really. Ever get that?

My wife told me to remember the spiritual heaving sacrifices we been discussing last night when i told her about my struggle this morning, (going down and up the last week, issue after issue! (My God do i Love that Woman.😍))

Back into the black book!!!

Not into rap much but this is not at all a badly done song.

Re: Christian Chat

@RiverSeal Thank you very much letting me know. Not sure either. but no need to make a deal out of it.😉

So i can post that image again now? (i spend a lot of time getting that image as i wanted it to be.😁)

@heartathome @Realness @Appleblossom @MissGremlin @ENKELI

i made this image down depressed to be my desktop image (As well as my computer duel Operating system boot image.) To remind me that Jesus is my existence dying my bad life.

Maybe i should put my Falling Upside Down poem with it?

Re: Christian Chat

Thank you very much for your thoughtful response @heartathome You do seem more social than I. My son and I were introverts and only lately are more social, and npw we accept the term ambivert. The longing for connection has always run deep within me, I just have not often found people that I resonate with, though i keep open and keep looking. Somehow I need responses to the particulars I share (which you do) rather than things being too generic.

You have shared about your cult experience. I could not personally offer sharings but I found it sad and interesting the way you described your experiences. As I grew up I heard very dismissive comments about cults. I had a brief experience with the Moonies trying to convert me as a teenager, and then more recently a Jehovahs Witness lady was visiting a lot. I liked our conversations, but she has stopped, as I think she realised I was not ready to join JW. The church I am in now is very liberal and progressive, but that also has its limitations. I do have a sense of acceptance that earthly gatherings of humans will be imperfect, but try and keep a quiet longing awake inside for God.

@MissGremlin @Realness

@DownMoreThanUp yes I often have feelings all over the place. I can move from joy to despair to grief to gratitude or serenity. One psychiatrist suggested I had Bipolar Mixed state, just for something to call it to permit onoing reason for having sessions.

Another psychiatrist kept suggesting I stop having sessions while I was really vulnerable and had heaps to sort through. I have often managed with minimal support. For the last 6 months I have had weekly sesisons. I really seem to need it, however I am a bit skeptical about many psychiatric postions regarding both diagnosis and medications. I have been on meds for decades, mostly at low levels. They were higher doses for about 3-4 years around the time I joined the forum.
