Part of my trouble is working out if what I post is going to trigger someone. Sometimes I just don't have anything to say. I hit the support button, but I always like to answer the person. In that way, I put pressure on myself, and I don't work well under pressure.

I know you look after your son really well, from what I've seen. I would worry too (because I worry about everything), although I think it's wonderful that he'll have the house AND the car! I'm glad you and your son are not as isolated now. Knowing what I know of you, I'm sure you've got him set up well and he's going to enjoy himself. 💛

We had a great day with three of the little ones sleeping overnight and coming out with us this morning. We went to a park with a children's playground and afterwards had lunch together. We had a ball. My mood has been really good the last weeks so that really helped. Relaxing now after the kids went back home and peace has been restored.

The dogs need attention now. For three dogs with three kids is almost impossible to keep in check, so we kept them apart. Plus Max, the youngest is a little scared of Zeus. Of course Zeus loves him but he is too much of a bully for a 3 year old.

Hoping you cool down soon. We had a sunny mid twenties. Lovely weather! Very typical for the time of the year.

@Appleblossom no regional NSW is more than enough info honey, because I am considering a couple of trips this coming year I am curious to see where other people are going for their vacations. I hope it is a true holiday for you. Regional NSW is lovely and the weather should be nice too. Before dad died he was living in Lisarow, not sure if you know where that is.
The reason I am considering the Ghan is I know mum really wants to do it and she has given me so much over the years I wanted to treat her. I am due to get an inheritance from my dad and if it's the amount he told my brother it would be then I will be able to do the Ghan as well as the Europe trip. The trips are through HolidayMax and they seem quite reasonable. I haven't been on a trip since 2014 when mum paid for me to do a 3 day ocean cruise for Australia Day. I am excited to go anywhere at this stage!!

Have you managed to stay cool?

@DownMoreThanUp yes where you are the weather is beautiful this time of year. I have cousins who live in Albany, I baptised my Goddaughter in the ocean around there too.
I am amazed you can manage 3 puppers, one was enough for me lol!

I'm also happy to hear you're feeling better too. You've been on my mind a lot and I've been praying for your wellbeing as well as overall.

@ENKELI the Ghan will be a beautiful slow connected way to travel with your mother. I dont need to go to Europe. I last left Australia in 1981 for a year, but travelled well then. A European trip could be good for my son... one day.... step at a time.

@heartathome Yes I also put a lot into individual responses over the years. I think it does matter and we never do know what will trigger someone else, cos we all have our own complex set of triggers and associations. Its rarely a one size fits all. Your care shines through. People appreciate your energy and presence. In this funny age where we have been told how easily it is to offend people etc, all we can do is try.
