Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

Re: Christian Chat

@Realness @heartathome For me it is not about nice posts, although once i thought that more important, but more about connecting with those down deep. When i was on the bottom in my pit so few came to visit, so few had an ear to listen or a heart with love to care. So many judged me for what happened to me when unwell, as if i made myself sick or something. So few would pray for me or ask after me when i was to scared/unwell/insecure/stuck/hopeless to post.

@Appleblossom @AlwaysMyself @AuntGlow @ENKELI

This is why i have enjoyed your company a lot. For you also know how it feels to be vulnerable, and how to overcome such times in and with Jesus. You also have big Victories and small Victories and know that although we are forgiven sin can be hard to fight at times, and we can even be unwilling to fight what otherwise we would. Etc. Etc.

i found that when people's spirits have been trialled by bad life, many failures, much suffering, and many set backs, they are more forgiving and understanding to others, then others who do not know about living through such times. People who fight sin, know others fighting sin, need grace like they do, and are more willing to give it.

Such are my highlights sharing my life with you. For Christ's Victories are great to celebrate and life's pain and suffering is good to share with those who understand, at least on the bottom line level, what is going on.

We all need Jesus big time, and so experience and see Jesus shape us into vessels of honour! That is the best part knowing you all as Family.

We are His Beloved!

🤔I love your posts! @Realness I think you are very articulate and clear with your writings! I see you as a down-to-earth person who has a heart of gold! Please believe that God has given you the same gift. If you didn't post your morning study, I would not be reading along with it in the Bible! You are a beautiful person to me! 💛

Re: Christian Chat

@Realness I've enjoyed reading your posts also; I hope you can see that your posts are also just as valuable and helpful and supportive as others also. 😊 I look forward to getting to know you more also.

In the social chats I tend to "read more, post less" unless it is one of the rarer times that I am not busy and feeling up for lighter chit-chat. For some reason I find "deeper chats" easier than chit-chat lol. But I also appreciate that lighter chats are important for getting to know people and building rapport and trust. 😊 I just sometimes don't know what to say next lol, unless there is a question to answer 😅. With deeper conversations, I often feel it is easier to know what to say in reply, or there is something to ask about.

I use the "support" button a lot (except of course when it is not working lol), as a way of saying "I read and liked" or "I read and feel for you" - especially when the conversation has moved on since and I am delayed in reading the post. 🙂

Re: Christian Chat

@Realness I used to be very much...like you and @heartathome "overwhelmed and have difficulty putting two sentences together all the time"...especially orally. However in the last 8 years or so, having had lots of therapy, my mouth can work alright. The problem is still there, as its hard working out how much to say, as mostly I have been dealt a lot of judgment if I am too open about my life and story. There is just too much shame and complexity. even if I try and simplify it.

I have appreciated the forums as being a place I dont have to constantly self censor, as to what is appropriate. At least I thought I could be all of me.

Heartathome, of course I dont mind you asking. I appreciate that you notice and care. I really have been pretty invisible to care for such a long time, that I would NOT be annoyed at repeating anything. My son is remaining home. I hope enjoys the house and the car and he has more social contact this year than the last few years, as we were very isolated. SO I am trying to be hopeful and not worry.

It is a time of year that has a lot of triggers for me, including 2 anniversaries, but it may be better for him. I can only hope and pray. In a way the intergenerational transmission of trauma can make the vicarious aspects tougher for him. I know the I have tried to make plans respecting his personal integrity and personal agency. I try and be careful not to let my worry unduly unsettle him, but in our circumstances it has been hard to be absolutely clear about all the aspects of those things. Partly why, I shy away from excessively absolutist thinking. though of course I like it when things can rock solid and real.

I have been using the support button like @AlwaysMyself for pretty much a decade. The end of last year was the first time I noticed difficulties aorund the support button and the longer threads not being functional. Guess its due to the site being used!?!

I am bringing this book "Divine Beauty: The Invisible Embrace" to help nourish me and keep my mind oriented. It is only a week and a half away including travel. I am pretty anxious as my train was booked ages ago, but plans changed due to bus replacements, and I cannot do a bus all the way to Sydney with my neck, so am flying. I am also anxious as there are tricky uncomfortable relationships with people that are also going. I dont even know why I persist, but to cancel, may upset things more. idk. I just hope I dont stuff things up. I have been about 6 times before to this participatory music festival, so it has become an annual pilgrimage, and I know a few people. Its not a random tourist event. It has helped me to plan it as something creative to get through the anniversaries. There is usually a mix of Sacred and secular music.

Thanks for including me in respectful caring Christian chat.

Re: Christian Chat

@Appleblossom where are you going on your trip lovely?

I am planning on a couple of trips this year, once is the Ghan with my mum and the other is a trip to Europe with my bestie as a 50th anniversary celebration. Ironically they both cost around the same amount!

I pray you don't have to deal with any more bank issues xo

Re: Christian Chat

@DownMoreThanUp I noticed the same thing, I had to log in on my new tablet and was confused at the options. But what I do like is the new email notifications.

I hope you're travelling well xo

Re: Christian Chat

@AuntGlow you caught Perth weather plus interest! We had 38 for several days last week. There is nowhere that is comfortable in that type of weather. I hope you are able to keep cool honey xoxo
